Special Guest Jonathan Emord

For the past 37 years, Jonathan W. Emord has litigated against the federal bureaucracy, winning over and over again. Ron Paul calls Jonathan “an expert in constitutional theory and history” and “an expert litigator with a long string of legal victories over the federal bureaucracy.” George Noory calls him “a Knight in Shining Armor” and “a warrior out to save our rights.” Congressmen Dan Burton and John Doolittle describe him as “an intellectual warrior for the rights and freedoms of people in America.” Jonathan has a unique, detailed knowledge of the federal bureaucracy, the deep state. He knows how to defeat it. Jonathan graduated from the University of Illinois (BA, political science and history, 1982) and DePaul University College of Law (JD, 1985). He served as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission during the Reagan administration. A leading constitutional law and litigation expert, he is the author of five critically acclaimed books. He has won more cases against the Food and Drug Administration in federal court than any other attorney in American history, earning him the nickname “FDA Dragon Slayer.” He is a columnist for Townhall.com, PJ Media.com, Americangreatness.com, and the U.S.A. Today Magazine. He frequently appears on national radio and television programs. He is married to Sheryl Emord, and they have two children, twins Justice and Angelica. Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Biden Administration in Censorship Case The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the plaintiffs in Murthy v. Missouri lacked standing to sue the Biden administration for allegedlypressuring social media companies to censor content. This 6-3 decision overturned lower court rulings that had found the government’s actions constituted state censorship in violation of the First Amendment. Children’s Health Defense (CHD) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continue with a similar lawsuit, Kennedy v. Biden, which is not affected by this ruling and focuses on claims of direct censorship. The case’s outcome may significantly impact First Amendment rights and online speech. Justice Samuel Alito, in his dissent, criticized the court’s failure to address the free speech implications, arguing that the administration’s actions were unconstitutional.

U.S. Surgeon General Urges Congress to Issue Tobacco-Like Warning Labels for Social Media U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has urged Congress to require warning labels on social media platforms, similar to those on cigarette packs, due to the significant mental health risks for adolescents. Murthy emphasized that social media is associated with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and addiction, particularly among young people. The proposed labels aim to increase awareness and change behavior by reminding users of these risks. The Surgeon General also called for regulations to limit data collection from children and restrict features like autoplay and infinite scroll. This initiative highlights the need to protect youth from the potentially harmful effects of social media.

Physicians Cheer U.S. Surgeon General’s Move Making Gun Violence A Public Health Crisis The U.S. Surgeon General has declared gun violence a public health crisis, a move applauded by physiciansnationwide. This declaration aims to promote comprehensive strategies similar to those used against smoking and drunk driving. The advisory calls for increased funding for firearm violence research, enhanced data collection, and community-based prevention programs. Physicians emphasized the emotional and physical harm caused by gun violence, noting its status as the leading cause of death among children and adolescents. The Surgeon General’s advisory also includes recommendations for safe firearm storage and mental health support, reflecting a broad approach to mitigating the epidemic of gun-related injuries and deaths.

Lawsuit on Behalf of Vaccine-injured Seeks to Strike Down ‘Unconstitutional’ PREP Act A lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida challenges the PREP Act, which grants immunity to companies like Pfizer and Moderna for COVID-19 vaccine-related injuries. Plaintiffs include Moms for America and individuals who claim to have suffered or lost loved ones due to COVID-19 vaccines. The lawsuit argues that the PREP Act violates the U.S. Constitution and the Administrative Procedure Act. The plaintiffs seek to declare the act unconstitutional, allowing them to sue vaccine manufacturers and seek compensation for legal fees. They criticize the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), which has denied the majority of claims, providing minimal compensation to those affected.

Mayorkas: ‘No Evidence’ Migrants Brought by ISIS-Affiliated Network Planning to Harm U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stated there isno evidence that migrants brought to the U.S. by an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network are planning to harm the country. Addressing concerns raised by a report that over 400 migrants from Central Asia and other regions were identified as subjects of concern, Mayorkas emphasized the thorough screening and vetting process conducted by the Department of Homeland Security. He also noted a significant decrease in the number of individuals released into immigration enforcement proceedings since the president’s proclamation, attributing ongoing issues to the inadequate detention capacity and the need for congressional action to address the broken immigration system.

Hour 2

Vaccines in the Food Supply: What Are the Risks? The use of mRNA vaccines in food animals has raised concerns due to the lack of transparency and rigorous safety testing. The U.S. Department of Agriculture(USDA) and drug developers are not required to release detailed information on veterinary drugs under development, leading to uncertainty about the long-term effects on humans consuming these animal products. mRNA vaccines have been used in pigs since around 2014, and other livestock are receiving similar treatments. Studies suggest that these vaccines could potentially alter the genetic code of animals and humans, and there is evidence that mRNA can be absorbed through the digestive tract. Additionally, DNA, RNA, and recombinant viral-vector vaccines are being developed for farm animals, and there are efforts to create vegetables that deliver mRNA to humans. The potential for RNAi pesticides to cause genetic modifications in humans and the environment adds another layer of risk. These developments raise significant ethical and health concerns that need to be addressed through more transparent and thorough safety evaluations.
