Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Eat This, Not That—Why Medical Schools Need to Emphasize Nutrition Despite being a physician, the author realized only recently the importance of nutrition, highlighting the lack of emphasis on dietaryeducation in medical schools. Obesity, a prevalent issue in the U.S., is often overlooked in medical training, leading to inadequate dietary guidance for patients. With obesity now causing more deaths than smoking, its links to numerous diseases, including heart disease and diabetes, underline the urgent need for nutritional education. Current medical curricula prioritize organ-specific knowledge over nutrition, resulting in doctors ill-equipped to advise on healthy eating. The author advocates for a curriculum overhaul to include comprehensive nutrition training, enabling doctors to offer evidence-based dietary advice. Such changes could significantly reduce obesity rates and related health issues, ultimately saving millions of lives.

Mystery of Gulf War Syndrome Finally Solved by Immunologists Researchers from Griffiths University have identified a potential cause of Gulf War Illness, a condition affecting up to one-third of Gulf War veterans. The study found that defective calcium-transporting molecules in cells might be responsible, linking the illness to exposure to chemical and biological agents during the war. This discovery provides a scientific basis for the health problems experienced by veterans, offering hope for developing effective treatments. The findings highlight the vulnerability of cell structures to environmental toxins, advancing our understanding of the biochemical mechanisms behind the illness. This breakthrough could lead to new therapeutic strategies, improving the quality of life for affected veterans.

20 Unvaxed Police Officers Fired — Two Years After COVID Shot Mandates Ended The West Australian Police Force has dismissed nearly 20 unvaccinatedofficers and public servants, despite the end of COVID-19 mandates two years ago. Legal challenges delayed these firings, but a Supreme Court ruling validated the vaccination directive, prompting immediate dismissals. Among those fired was Senior Constable Ben Falconer, who cited safety concerns and bodily integrity as reasons for refusing the vaccine. The dismissals come amid staffing shortages and low morale within the force, exacerbated by dissatisfaction with management and the COVID-19 response. The firings have sparked debate on the balance between public health directives and individual rights, highlighting ongoing tensions in post-pandemic policy enforcement.

Vote Now to Celebrate America’s Farmers Markets The American Farmland Trust (AFT) has launched the 16th annual America’s Farmers’ Market Celebration (AFMC), offering $15,000 in prizes to the most popular farmers markets as determined by public vote. Initiated in 2008, the AFMC aims to emphasize the importance of farmers markets in U.S. communities and honor the farmers, staff, and food producers behind them. The event ranks the nation’s top markets, encouraging shoppers to vote for their favorites. John Piotti, AFT’s President and CEO, highlights the critical role of farmers markets in supporting existing farms, fostering new farms, and generating local jobs and opportunities. The top five markets will receive monetary awards ranging from $250 to $5,000, with additional $100 prizes for the top market in each state. This initiative not only helps farmers stay in business but also connects consumers with healthy, local food options and strengthens community ties. Voting is open until July 31, 2024, and the funds are intended to help the winning markets expand and enhance their impact on their communities. By participating in the vote, individuals contribute to the sustainability and growth of local agriculture and the promotion of fresh, nutritious food.

Hour 2

Castle Hayne farmer won’t sell produce due to forever chemical contamination Ty Jacobus, a farmer at Honeybird Organic Farm in Castle Hayne, North Carolina, has decided not to sell his produce due tocontamination from forever chemicals, or PFAS. Tests revealed PFAS levels in his well water between 50 and 60 parts per trillion, significantly exceeding the EPA’s safety standards. This contamination has affected all aspects of his farm, with his chickens’ eggs showing over 200 times the safe drinking water standard. Despite the lack of laws preventing the sale of these products, Jacobus refuses to sell them, resulting in severe business impacts. The Environmental Management Commission (EMC) and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) have yet to take decisive action on setting acceptable PFAS levels, further exacerbating the problem. DEQ Secretary Elizabeth Biser expressed frustration over the EMC’s inaction, emphasizing the continued health risks and economic harm to farmers like Jacobus. Without regulatory changes, Jacobus fears he might not have a viable crop for the upcoming seasons.

The Invisible Nuclear Threat Within Non-Organic Food The FDA promotes the use of cobalt-60 from nuclear reactors for “electronic pasteurization” of conventional food, exposing it to high levels of gamma radiation under the guise of making it safer. This process, likened to the destructive radiation from nuclear warfare, significantly degrades the nutritional quality of food and produces toxic byproducts. The article highlights the Orwellian nature of this practice, which is rarely disclosed to consumers, and the broader agenda of promoting nuclear energy as beneficial. Irradiated food loses vitamins and forms harmful compounds, while the process supports unsanitary industrial farming practices. Additionally, the use of bacteriophage virus “cocktails” on meat and the proliferation of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the food supply pose further health risks. The author advocates for organic food as the safer alternative, free from irradiation, GMOs, and other harmful practices, urging consumers to vote with their forks to drive change towards healthier food systems.

Question of The Day!

Our granddaughter…Braelynn was doing the silver/aloe protocol (after she was taking the can-gest)…..she just adds honey and plugs her nose…:)…..for tummy issues. Our daughter took her to be food sensitivity tested a couple weeks back. She shared about Braelynn taking the silver/aloe protocol. The doctor said she agreed that the silver would kill the bad bacteria but would also kill some of the good. Hmmhhh??? Can you give us your take on that? Our granddaughter has since been told to stop using the silver/aloe protocol. Now it’s made me frustrated…in a protective sort of way. 🙂 Thank you for your time and responding.
