Monday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

King Charles Is Likely Using an ‘Oxygen Tent’ and ‘Homeopathy’ as He Fights Cancer King Charles, diagnosed with nonspecified cancer, is reportedly turning to alternative treatments, including an “oxygen tent” and homeopathic remedies, inaddition to his lifelong commitment to alternative medicine. Historically, Charles has been a proponent of integrating holistic approaches into healthcare, advocating for options like reflexology, massage, acupuncture, and aromatherapy alongside traditional medical treatments. Despite criticism from the medical community for his support of alternative over conventional cancer treatments, Charles has remained steadfast in his beliefs. His approach to cancer treatment includes drinking carrot juice, undergoing coffee enemas, and consuming a variety of fruit juices. Buckingham Palace has stated that the king is receiving expert care in an outpatient capacity and remains positive about his treatment.

Special Guest Frank Stallone

Grammy and Golden Globe nominated artist Frank Stallone is one of the most versatile actors, singers and musicians in the business. His explosive voice and his range from comedy to drama and rock to blues to big band, leaves audiences entertained and captivated.

Frank has garnered three Platinum Albums, ten Gold Albums and five Gold Singles and has acted in over 60 films and TV shows including Walker Texas Ranger, multiple sitcoms and variety shows, Hudson Hawk, Staying Alive, Fred Claus, and Tombstone, in which he made a big impact as “Ed Bailey,” a dangerous gunslinger. One of his most memorable film roles was as “Eddie,” the bartender in Barfly, which was touted by critic Roger Ebert: “Barfly is a terrific film that features an outstanding performance by Frank Stallone…he’s both captivating and terrifying at the same time.”

Frank has written and published over 200 songs and, with his newest single in The Expendables 2 (Don’t Want to Fight With Me), has written and recorded compositions for nine films, including Rocky I, II and III, Rambo II, Paradise Alley and Over the Top. But, it was Frank’s nine songs that he wrote and recorded for the Saturday Night Fever Sequel Staying Alive that earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Sound Track and a Grammynomination for Best Original Song with his single, Far From Over. That song became a massive number#1 hit around the world and stayed on the top charts for more than four months.

At a young age, the Maryland-born, Philadelphia-raised native pursued his musical ambitions, forming a series of bands, and finally turned professional at the tender age of 15 (“I had to lie about my age,” admits Frank). His group, Valentine, included lead guitarist John Oates (Hall and Oates) and was signed to RCA Records in 1975, when they recorded their first album. Frank made his on-screen singing debut, performing the self-penned acapella song, Take You Back in the opening scene of the film Rocky. “The only reason I got the part was that I was the only musician my brother, Sylvester, knew…and I worked cheap.”

Frank has recorded nine solo albums receiving praise from legends Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Sammy Cahn. His rock-influenced Full Circle, “which I feel is my best” was followed by his American songbook albums, In Love in Vain, with Sammy Nestico, Stallone on Stallone by Request, a compilation of Frank’s film soundtrack tunes, and Songs from the Saddle, showing Frank’s more acoustic side. He’s a big fan favorite in Australia and he performs in concert halls, theaters and clubs all around the world, gaining critical acclaim wherever he goes “he has the crowd enthralled.” (New York Daily News)

Frank is a guitar, music, mafia and art aficionado, is one of the best boxing historians and collectors in the world and is an avid collector of guitars, guns and memorabilia. When he’s not writing songs or filming a project, he can be found on a shooting range or at the gym but he’s happiest with a guitar, beautiful women and good glass of vino. If you ask why he’s never been married, he’ll tell you “I guess I just forgot.”

Obesity is ‘exploding,’ with more than 12% of people classified as obese worldwide, study finds: ‘Big trouble’ A new study published in The Lancet reveals a dramatic global rise in obesity, stating that over 12% of the global population is now classified as obese. The study, analyzing data from 1990 to 2022, indicates that more than one billion people are living with obesity, marking a significant increase over the past few decades. This surge in obesity rates also extends to children aged five to 19, whose obesity rate has quadrupled. Health experts are sounding alarms over the implications for public health, pointing to poor diets rich in carbohydrates and fats but lacking in proteins and vegetables as a primary cause. Recommendations to counteract this trend include increasing the intake of vegetables, fiber, and fish, reducing consumption of processed foods, and promoting regular exercise.

Hour 2

As Addictive as Cigarettes and Cocaine: How Big Food Hooks Consumers on Junk Food Research suggests that ultra-processed foods, designed to be highly rewarding and addictive, may alterthe brain’s reward pathways similarly to drugs like cigarettes and cocaine. These foods, often formulated with added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and flavorings, encourage overeating and addiction, exploiting the brain’s reward mechanisms. Historical ties between major food brands and tobacco companies suggest that strategies used to promote cigarettes have been applied to food products, enhancing their addictive qualities. The manipulation of ingredients to achieve an optimal “bliss point” of salt, sugar, and fat, alongside the strategic alteration of food properties like texture and flavor, plays a significant role in consumer addiction. Addressing this issue, Sen. Bernie Sanders has called for strong warning labels on ultra-processed foods to combat rising obesity and diabetes rates. The alarming trend underscores the need for regulatory policies and public awareness to mitigate the health risks associated with these addictive food products.

Questions and Comment of The Day

Robert,
My husband has memory issues that occurred after emergency gallbladder surgery (2018) . He has not been medically diagnosed. 2/29/24 I was unable to wake him and he was making loud snoring sounds , also like he was trying to breathe deeply. It was sooo scary. EMS took him to ER and they ran every kind of test there was. (Brain Scan, lungs, heart, thyroid, oxygen, inflammation , glucose etc) and they seem to think he had a seizure. They want him to see a neurologist for an MRI and EEG. I am apprehensive about all they would have planned. He is 80, takes no medication except Lumigan drops for glaucoma , and takes Cardio Miracle since Jan. 2 2024. He also takes copper, magnesium , vitamin C, Selenium and fish oil. Any suggestions as to what I can do to help my wonderful husband? I might add that 2 weeks prior, he had a chiropractor adjustment and became dizzy afterwards and the following morning when he got out of bed, lost his balance and fell and hit his head on a window seat or the floor. He still has a little bit of dizziness since that time.
You are the first one I thought of when this happened as you are a wealth of information and we like natural health remedies and not going to the traditional methods. I would appreciate any advice and information you can give me.
PS…ER wanted to give him a PCR test and a tetanus shot…I rejected both. They said ok which surprised me
All the tests they ran, they found nothing. All were good.

Hi Robert and Super Don,
On this past Friday’s show, Michael Boldin mentioned that his wife was having health challenges. When Robert inquired to learn more details, Michael shared that his wife had too much iodine from eating too much seaweed. In light of Michael’s wife’s concerns and also that many families buy and eat certified organic nori seaweed sheets for snacks and meals such as sushi nori, etc., my questions are below:

1. Is eating certified organic nori seaweed sheets safe in regards to both iodine and heavy metals? See below specific questions pertaining to both. (Please note that it appears that most certified organic nori seaweed production comes from Japan, South Korea, China, etc.)
2. If so and not to consume too much iodine, how many certified organic nori seaweed sheets would you consider safe to consume on a daily basis, so that a person does not end up with too much iodine?
3. Also, do you have heavy metals concerns in certified organic nori seaweed sheets? And again, any suggestions on how many certified organic nori seaweed sheets to consume on a daily basis in this regard?
Thank you,
Beth
