Wednesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Sacred Fire of Liberty!

It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:

Kaine Supports Increased Government Surveillance of Private Health Information Senator Tim Kaine has no problem allowing the FBI to interfere with freedom of religion and no problem allowing the Public Health Service to increase patient surveillance.  To Kaine, the interests of the Deep State are more important than the constitutional rights of the American people. On April 16, in an interview with WSET (ABC 12 News, Lynchburg, VA), Senator Kaine defended an FBI memo calling for undercover agents to surveil Catholic parishioners in the Latin Mass in Richmond.  Without the slightest evidence of probable cause of a crime being committed, the FBI surveilled Catholics in violation of their First and Fourteenth Amendment rights.  Kaine had no problem with that.  Instead, he rose in knee-jerk defense of the FBI, condoning the violation of Catholics’ freedom of religion as necessary to further FBI’s presumed interest in ferreting out non-existent “white supremacist extremists” who were said to hold sway over Catholic traditionalists. Kaine’s words on the subject revealed bigotry against traditional Catholics who observe the Latin Mass.  He said “radical traditionalist Catholics” were being recruited by “violent extremists” (by which he appears to have meant “white supremacists”).  With that bigoted slight and without a shred of evidence of any criminality, Kaine defended FBI surveillance.  He stood up for the Deep State against the rights of his fellow Virginians and Catholics. Kaine is now marshalling support for yet another assault on individual rights, this time one that deprives us of our right to privacy.  Kaine is urging support for a bill he introduced entitled the “Improving DATA in Public Health Act.”  According to Kaine, the bill is “critical” to ensure “local, state, and federal public health agencies can quickly aggregate data,” particularly in a “public health emergency” by, in the words of bill co-sponsor on the House side, Democrat Congresswoman Ami Bera, “better position[ing] ourselves to surveil against any public health threats.”

Parents’ Guide to Countering Woke School Indoctrination Public schools have become indoctrination centers.  Many parents panic at the start of the school year because their children, nurtured to have essential values, ethics, respect for others, and belief in God, will be bombarded with woke indoctrination, including transgender ideology, sexualization, Critical Race Theory, and anti-American historical revisionism.  Here is a guide to help parents deprogram children before, and throughout, the school year. Your child may well be told without your knowledge or consent that his or her gender is fluid, changeable at will.  That indoctrination is false, against basic biology.  It is also child abuse (separating children from their birth genders through psychological manipulation).  You, of course, ordinarily know if your child is a boy or a girl.  To protect your child from being misled into believing the falsehood that genders are fluid, you need to explain the fact that genders are determined at birth and are immutable and that efforts to change them through surgery and drugs never do change gender but do cause permanent, irreparable injuries.  You need to explain that if teachers say genders are fluid, they are lying.  You need to invite your child to tell you whenever a teacher says anything about gender, so you can disabuse them of gender falsehoods.  You may well need to remove your child from public school to prevent irreparable psychological harm stemming from gender fluidity falsehoods.

All the Trump Indictments in One Place Former President Donald Trump has been indicted four times — once in a county court in Manhattan, New York; once in federal court in Miami, Florida; once in federal court in Washington, D.C.; and once in a county court in Fulton County, Georgia. Together, these indictments account for 91 counts thus far: 34 counts in New York, with a total maximum penalty of 136 years; 40 counts in Miami, up to 450 years; four counts in D.C., up to 55 years, or death; and 13 counts in Georiga, facing up to 76.5 years. Charges: 37 counts against Trump in the original indictment, plus three additional counts against Trump in the superseding one. Trump was charged alongside Waltine Nauta in the original indictment, and with Carlos de Oliveira in the superseding one.

Pollak: 11 Key Takeaways from Georgia Indictment of Donald Trump Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 lawyers, aides, and supporters in Georgia late Monday night for their efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results. It was the fourth indictment of Trump, after a New York indictment for allegedly falsifying business records in the Stormy Daniels affair; a federal indictment in Miami over presidential records; and a federal indictment in Washington, D.C., over January 6. The RICO statute is a tactic to secure an easy conviction of Trump, even if it is overturned. The Georgia case invokes a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute, of the kind used to prosecute mobsters for large criminal enterprises. As Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz noted, RICO prosecutions often survive early procedural motions, and lead to convictions, though they are often overturned on appeal. Democrats want a conviction before Election Day. The indictment was rushed, and leaked by Fulton County before the grand jury had voted. Though a “special” grand jury — with a clear anti-Trump bias — had already recommended charges against Trump, the grand jury that voted to indict him on Monday only heard testimony for one day. Hours before the grand jury voted, however, the county court posted, then deleted, a document that resembled the final indictment, which may have violated Trump’s rights and suggests a rigged process.

Biden censors battered — expect an epic Supreme Court showdown Federal judges hammered fresh nails into the coffin of the Biden censorship regime Thursday in New Orleans. The thrashing the administration received will likely set up an epic Supreme Court battle that could help redefine freedom for our era. A federal appeals court was hearing the Justice Department’s appeal of a July 4 decision in Missouri v. Biden that ignited pro-freedom rhetorical fireworks across the nation. Federal Judge Terry Doughty’s opinion condemned the Biden administration for potentially “the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history.” Doughty delivered 155 pages of damning details of federal browbeating, jawboning and coercion of social-media companies. He issued an injunction blocking the feds from “encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech.” The Biden administration rushed to sway the appeals court to postpone enforcement of the injunction and then sought to redefine all its closed-door shenanigans as public service.

Hour 2

Don’t Assume that Experts Know Something You Do Not It’s about brains, really. People who consider themselves public health experts, and no doubt those who consider themselves climate change experts, don’t consider other people’s brains as being on a par with theirs. That opens a wide door to those who consider themselves experts. If you are an “expert” and have a superior brain, there is no reason to have any compunction about inserting your decision-making into the lives of others – the benighted lessers – and seizing the rights of others, including the foundational rights to decide for oneself what is best for you and to express those decisions openly. Weirdly, we’ve lived through about three years of a lot of people agreeing with the “experts.” That is, the message back to the “experts” is essentially “You’re right. Our brains are not up to the level of yours, so we will happily allow you to make all decisions for us. We willingly submit.” It’s been the human equivalent of that skinny glass-bodied bird with the top hat who just nods, occasionally dipping its beak into the water in the glass. It nods all day, it nods all night, and it just keeps nodding. Part of that acquiescence can be attributed to a constant drumbeat suggesting this group of “experts” actually knows the truth, “the science.” Wrap unwavering arrogance (openly backed by members of the same acceptably-educated in-group projecting their own self-anointing, in-group-bonding arrogance into the issue) with a heavy blanket of “You’re going to die if you don’t listen,” and it’s understandable that normal people are cowed.

Heart attack hospitalisations at record level since pandemic Record numbers of people have been hospitalised with heart attacks in the wake of the pandemic, official figures show. On Tuesday, health chiefs will launch a campaign urging those with symptoms to seek help, with fears that too many cases are being detected too late. The new figures for England show that more than 84,000 patients were admitted to hospital because of a heart attack in 2021/22 – a rise of more than 7,000 in a year. It follows warnings that heart deaths have risen by more than 500 a week since the first lockdown, with a fall in the numbers prescribed vital medication amid struggles to access GP care. Health officials are afraid that people are still failing to come forward, adding to the collateral damage caused by the pandemic. From this week, an NHS advert will encourage people to call 999 as soon as they experience symptoms of a heart attack, such as squeezing across the chest, sweating and a feeling of uneasiness, so people have the best chance of survival. Prof Nick Linker, a cardiologist and NHS national clinical director for heart disease, said: “Cardiovascular disease causes one in four deaths across the country, so it is vital that people are aware of the early signs of a heart attack. On Tuesday, Rishi Sunak will set out plans for a £250 million spending boost for the NHS ahead of winter, including 900 extra beds.

YouTube announces new policies to target medical misinformation YouTube on Tuesday announced it is creating a new framework to crack down on medical misinformation on the platform. “In the years since we began our efforts to make YouTube a destination for high-quality health content, we’ve learned critical lessons about developing Community Guidelines in line with local and global health authority guidance on topics that pose serious real-world risks, such as misinformation on COVID-19, vaccines, reproductive health, harmful substances, and more,” a blog post from the video-sharing site read. “We’re taking what we’ve learned so far about the most effective ways to tackle medical misinformation to simplify our approach for creators, viewers, and partners.” The platform has faced controversy in recent years for its algorithm and the way it can direct viewers to misleading and extremist content. In 2021, YouTube said it removed more than 1 million videos related to “dangerous coronavirus information” since the beginning of the outbreak in the U.S. YouTube said it will use three categories, “Prevention, Treatment and Denial” to sort the kinds of medical misinformation on the platform. It will remove content that contradicts guidance from health authorities on the prevention and transmission of certain conditions, including vaccines. It will also take down content that contradicts guidance on treatments, including videos that tout unproven remedies in place of seeking care, and content that denies the existence of specific conditions, including COVID-19, according to YouTube.

Dementia Risk Linked to Nexium, Prilosec, Similar Heartburn Drugs After Long-Term Use: Study Long-term side effects of Nexium, Prilosec and similar proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medications may increase the risk of dementia, according to the findings of a new study that raises additional concerns about the risks associated with the popular heartburn, which many individuals take for years. Researchers with the University of Minnesota report that individuals taking proton pump inhibitors for longer than four years faced a 33% increased risk of being diagnosed with dementia. Their findings were published on August 9 in the medical journal Neurology. PPIs are designed to reduce the amount of acid in the stomach, treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), as well as heartburn, ulcers in the stomach and small intestines, and inflammation of the esophagus. In addition to Nexium, Prilosec and Prevacid, the class also includes the brand name medications Protonix, Zegerid, AcipHex, Dexilant and Vimovo, as well as a number of generic equivalents. While the drugs have been promoted for years as safe and effective, leading many to believe they carry few serious side effects, the manufacturers have faced thousands of Nexium lawsuitsProtonix lawsuitsPrilosec lawsuits and Prevacid lawsuits, each raising similar claims that plaintiffs were left with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal failure and other unexpected health problems.

Question of The Day!

Thank you Robert. When you were talking with Dr. Bryan Ardis, the subject of magnesium came up briefly. Would you elaborate on magnesium. I believe he said that Dr. Buttar used in IV’s. He didn’t seem to agree with him on that
Maybe suggest type, dose etc. I have problem with most magnesiums giving me loose stools.
