Special Guest: Jonathan Emord

For the past 37 years, Jonathan W. Emord has litigated against the federal bureaucracy, winning over and over again. Ron Paul calls Jonathan “an expert in constitutional theory and history” and “an expert litigator with a long string of legal victories over the federal bureaucracy.” George Noory calls him “a Knight in Shining Armor” and “a warrior out to save our rights.” Congressmen Dan Burton and John Doolittle describe him as “an intellectual warrior for the rights and freedoms of people in America.” Jonathan has a unique, detailed knowledge of the federal bureaucracy, the deep state. He knows how to defeat it. Jonathan graduated from the University of Illinois (BA, political science and history, 1982) and DePaul University College of Law (JD, 1985). He served as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission during the Reagan administration. A leading constitutional law and litigation expert, he is the author of five critically acclaimed books. Today Magazine. He frequently appears on national radio and television programs. He is married to Sheryl Emord, and they have two children, twins Justice and Angelica. GOP Lawmakers Confront Hunter Biden at Contempt Hearing: ‘You Have No Balls’
At a recent contempt of Congress hearing, Republican lawmakers confronted Hunter Biden for defying a congressional subpoena. Hunter Biden, accompanied by his lawyer Abbe Lowell and Kevin Morris, attended the hearing, which some perceived as a public relations stunt. Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) criticized Hunter Biden for epitomizing white privilege and cowardice. The tension escalated when Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spoke, leading to Hunter Biden and his group leaving the hearing. The article highlights the ongoing controversy surrounding Hunter Biden, including allegations of fraud and the Biden family’s foreign business ventures. It also mentions a poll indicating that a majority of Democrat voters believe Hunter Biden should comply with the House impeachment inquiry’s subpoena.

New Yorkers Last: Mayor Eric Adams Forces Students into Virtual Classes So Migrants Can Stay in School Gym
New York City Mayor Eric Adams decided to move nearly 2,000 migrants from Floyd Bennett Field to a Brooklyn high school’s gymnasium due to a forecasted thunderstorm, resulting in the school’s students shifting to virtual classes. This decision at James Madison High School in Brooklyn was made to provide shelter for the migrants during the storm. The school’s principal, Jodie Cohen, informed parents, students, and faculty about the temporary shift to remote learning. This move has sparked criticism, with some viewing it as prioritizing migrants over local students and highlighting the ongoing challenges of New York City’s migrant crisis.

The First Amendment, Brought to You By Pfizer
Pfizer is asserting its right to unrestricted commercial speech, challenging state regulations and demanding the power to influence public discourse on social media. In response to a lawsuit by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton accusing Pfizer of fraud and censorship, Pfizer claims immunity under the PREP Act and its government contracts. The company argues that Texas has no right to regulate its speech about the Covid-19 vaccine, which Pfizer insists is truthful and FDA-approved. However, Pfizer does not directly address Paxton’s allegations of deceptive marketing and efforts to silence critics, including coercing social media platforms to censor vaccine skeptics. This stance by Pfizer raises significant questions about corporate sovereignty, freedom of speech, and accountability in the pharmaceutical industry.

Will the FDA Supplement Bomb Detonate in 2024?
The FDA’s proposed new dietary ingredient (NDI) guidance could potentially eliminate over 41,000 dietary supplement products from the market if it becomes final in its current form. This guidance, which has been delayed multiple times since its initial draft in 2011 and revision in 2016, is a significant concern for the natural health community. The FDA’s approach is increasingly resembling the European Union’s stringent Novel Food Regulation, demanding safety studies akin to those required for drug approvals. This shift towards mandatory pre-market studies for supplements poses a substantial challenge for the industry, especially considering the inherently natural, less patentable nature of supplements and their modest pricing. The article emphasizes the consistent safety record of dietary supplements and criticizes the FDA’s broad definition of “chemically altered” supplements, which could stifle innovation and make it difficult for companies to produce new and effective supplements. The natural health community is urged to push back against this guidance to protect access to dietary supplements.

FDA Violated Agency Guidelines by Promoting Off-Label Use of COVID Shots to Treat Long COVID
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Robert Califf has been reported to promote the off-label use of COVID-19 vaccines for treating “long COVID,” a practice that is illegal under FDA rules. This promotion was based on a non-peer-reviewed conference presentation by Dr. Jessica N. Snowden, who did not disclose her financial ties to Pfizer. The article highlights concerns about the FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) exceeding their authority by promoting off-label drug use. Critics argue that this practice could shield pharmaceutical companies from prosecution and mimic the marketing strategies of snake oil salesmen, potentially leading to increased sales and reduced prosecution avenues for drugmakers. The article also discusses the role of physicians in prescribing medications for off-label use and the contrasting treatment of doctors who promoted ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19. The investigation raises questions about the FDA’s commitment to protecting public health and maintaining scientific integrity in drug promotion.

Hour 2

FDA’s Califf Calls for More Plain-Language Scientific Evidence to Dilute Vaccine Misinformation FDA Commissioner Robert Califf, along with Peter Marks, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, has emphasized the need for the clinical and biomedical community to actively counter vaccine misinformation. In an article published in JAMA, they highlight the growing concern of declining vaccination rates in the U.S., which threatens population immunity against vaccine-preventable diseases and could lead to thousands of excess deaths. Califf and Marks attribute this trend to the widespread vaccine misinformation, particularly on social media, which often overshadows evidence-based vaccine information from clinicians. They advocate for providing accurate, plain-language information about the individual and collective benefits and risks of vaccination. The FDA leaders stress the importance of educating people on the benefits of vaccination with straightforward information about risks, enabling well-informed choices based on accurate scientific evidence. They believe that countering misinformation effectively requires diluting it with large amounts of truthful, accessible scientific evidence. However, they acknowledge the challenge that statistics and facts often fail to influence people as effectively as narrative tactics used by vaccine opponents. Citing a Unicef guide to pro-vaccine communications, they note that firsthand information about the hardships of vaccine-preventable diseases is more effective at driving behavioral change than mere statistics.

COVID ‘6-feet’ Social Distancing ‘Sort of Just Appeared,’ Likely Lacked Scientific Basis, Fauci Admits Dr. Anthony Fauci, in a testimony to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, admitted that the widely recommended six feet social distancing guideline during the COVID-19 pandemic “sort of just appeared” and was likely not based on solid scientific data. Fauci, 83, acknowledged that this recommendation, which played a significant role in public health policies, including prolonged school closures, did not stem from scientific input. This revelation was part of a broader discussion on the systemic failures in the public health system during the pandemic. Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), who is also a physician, highlighted that Fauci’s interview revealed procedural concerns with public health authority. The testimony also touched on the impact of vaccination mandates on schools and businesses, with Fauci expressing concern that policies he promoted might increase vaccine hesitancy in the future. The article notes that there was frustration among committee members regarding Fauci’s inability to recall certain COVID-19 information crucial for their investigation. The subcommittee plans to release the full transcripts of the interview after review by majority and minority staff.
