Hour 1

Special Guest: Jonathan Emord

For the past 37 years, Jonathan W. Emord has litigated against the federal bureaucracy, winning over and over again. Ron Paul calls Jonathan “an expert in constitutional theory and history” and “an expert litigator with a long string of legal victories over the federal bureaucracy.” George Noory calls him “a Knight in Shining Armor” and “a warrior out to save our rights.” Congressmen Dan Burton and John Doolittle describe him as “an intellectual warrior for the rights and freedoms of people in America.” Jonathan has a unique, detailed knowledge of the federal bureaucracy, the deep state. He knows how to defeat it. Jonathan graduated from the University of Illinois (BA, political science and history, 1982) and DePaul University College of Law (JD, 1985). He served as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission during the Reagan administration. A leading constitutional law and litigation expert, he is the author of five critically acclaimed books. He has won more cases against the Food and Drug Administration in federal court than any other attorney in American history, earning him the nickname “FDA Dragon Slayer.” He is a columnist for Townhall.com, PJ Media.com, Americangreatness.com, and the U.S.A. Today Magazine. He frequently appears on national radio and television programs. He is married to Sheryl Emord, and they have two children, twins Justice and Angelica. They reside in Clifton, Virginia.

Colorado’s Disqualification of Trump Violates the Fourteenth Amendment
The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to bar Donald J. Trump from running for President, based on the 14th Amendment, is argued to be a violation of the same amendment. The court’s interpretation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which pertains to engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the United States, is challenged. The author argues that the Colorado Supreme Court lacks jurisdiction under Section 5 of the 14th Amendment, which reserves the power to enforce the amendment’s provisions to Congress. The article contends that President Trump did not engage in insurrection or rebellion as defined by Section 3 and that his actions are protected by the First Amendment. The author calls for the United States Supreme Court to overrule the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision, emphasizing that states do not have jurisdiction to construe and execute Section 3, a function reserved for the U.S. Congress. The article also discusses the historical context of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, arising from the Civil War, and the subsequent Amnesty Act of 1872

RFK Jr. issues stark warning after Colorado court blocks Trump from ballot: ‘Country will become ungovernable’
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., an independent candidate for president in 2024, issued a warning following the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to block former President Donald Trump from the ballot due to his involvement in the January 2021 Capitol attack. Kennedy expressed concern that if Trump is kept out of office through judicial action rather than a fair election, his supporters will not accept the result, leading to potential governance issues in the country. He emphasized the importance of trusting voters to decide the best candidate, not the courts. Kennedy criticized the Colorado decision for depriving Trump of his right to run without a conviction of a crime and without an evidentiary hearing. He argued that such actions contribute to the perception that elites are manipulating the legal system to pick the president. Kennedy’s stance is part of a broader critique of efforts to censor or block candidates, including himself, from ballots, which he views as anti-democratic tactics.

Texas law lets police arrest migrants who enter the US illegally
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has approved new legislation that grants police the authority to arrest migrants who illegally cross the U.S. border and allows local judges to order them to leave the country. This law, which takes effect in March, is seen as a significant state-level attempt to enforce immigration laws, traditionally a federal responsibility. The law permits Texas law enforcement officers to arrest individuals suspected of illegal entry into the country. Once in custody, these individuals could either agree to a judge’s order to leave the U.S. or face prosecution on misdemeanor charges of illegal entry. Repeat offenders could face more serious felony charges. The law is expected to face legal challenges, as immigration enforcement is primarily a federal duty. Abbott predicts a significant decrease in illegal crossings into Texas as a result of this law. The legislation adds to the ongoing tension over immigration policy and border security between the state and the federal government.

Study: Nearly 3-in-5 Illegal Alien Households are On Taxpayer-Funded Welfare
An analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals that close to 60 percent of households headed by illegal aliens use at least one major form of welfare. The study, conducted by Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler, shows that illegal aliens and legal immigrants generally use more welfare than native-born American citizens. Specifically, about 59 percent of households headed by illegal aliens and about 52 percent of households headed by legal immigrants use at least one form of welfare, compared to fewer than 4-in-10 households headed by native-born American citizens. The American welfare system, largely designed to help low-income families with children, aligns with the demographic profile of many immigrant households. The study found that immigrant-headed households use more food stamps, Medicaid benefits, and the Earned Income Tax Credit than native-born American households. This trend is significant as the foreign-born population in the U.S. reaches new record highs under President Joe Biden’s administration. The study’s findings are relevant in the context of ongoing debates about immigration policy and welfare system reform.

Chicago Alderman: Biden Admin. Is Letting in Asylum Seekers Under ‘False’ Pretenses with Court Dates in a Decade
Chicago Alderman and Democratic U.S. House candidate Raymond Lopez criticized the Biden administration for its handling of asylum seekers. On Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Lopez stated that the administration is allowing asylum seekers to enter the U.S. under false pretenses, with court cases scheduled for ten years later. He argued that the blame for the immigration system’s challenges should be directed at President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Mayorkas, rather than Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Lopez emphasized that the federal government is responsible for protecting and securing U.S. borders and maintaining a functional immigration system. He expressed frustration with the current situation, noting that even Democratic city mayors are seeking help as they struggle with the influx of migrants.

‘We Have Been Here Before’: Proposed Bill Would Require Manufacturers to Test Baby Foods for Heavy Metals
Federal lawmakers have introduced the Improving Newborns’ Food and Nutrition Testing Safety (INFANTS) Act of 2023, which mandates food manufacturers selling packaged infant and toddler foods to routinely test their products for toxic heavy metals and bacterial contamination. The bill aims to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, requiring quarterly testing for lead, cadmium, and mercury. This legislation follows an ongoing U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigation into potential lead poisoning in children from certain applesauce pouches. The bill also requires infant formula manufacturers to monitor and sample their products for Cronobacter, a harmful bacteria. The INFANTS Act complements the Baby Food Safety Act, which establishes maximum levels of toxic elements in infant and toddler food. The bill’s introduction highlights the need for stricter safety measures in baby food production, addressing concerns about exposure to heavy metals and their long-term health impacts on children.

Hour 2

Health officials push to get schoolchildren vaccinated as more US parents opt out
Health officials in the United States are intensifying efforts to vaccinate schoolchildren as an increasing number of parents opt out of state-required vaccines. In Idaho, for instance, parents opted out of vaccines for 12% of kids entering kindergarten last year, the highest rate in the nation. This trend is concerning given the need for high vaccination rates to prevent outbreaks of childhood diseases like measles, mumps, whooping cough, chickenpox, and polio. All states require certain routine vaccines for public school attendance, with most offering waivers for medical or religious beliefs, and fifteen states allowing waivers for any personal belief.

Special Guest Dr. Carolyn Dean

Dr. Carolyn Dean developed her diverse medical education by researching nutrients, homeopathy, and other alternative therapies almost 5 decades ago while studying to be an MD at Dalhousie Medical School, Halifax, Nova Scotia. After she graduated, Dr. Carolyn Dean began to integrate her application of alternative therapies alongside traditional allopathic medicine as she became one of the first functional medicine doctors in Canada. Her credentials included training as a certified dietician-nutritionist, naturopath, and Chinese Medicine herbalist and she used those modalities in her private practice and subsequent work in Canada, the United States, and in the international communities to which she traveled and served.

In 2004, Dr. Dean continued her remarkable career when she became a best-selling author of her landmark thesis on magnesium supplementation, The Magnesium Miracle®. Published by Random House and revised in 2017, The Magnesium Miracle® has become the most highly referenced publications on magnesium by both health care practitioners and consumers alike providing insight and application in the role of magnesium in health and the remedy of magnesium deficiency through supplementation.Dr. Dean believes in the inherent almost miraculous ability the body has to recover and sustain life if it is given appropriate nutritional and lifestyle support. But, even more importantly, Dr. Dean  leaves no man or woman behind.” As she says, “You can build wellness around any circumstance.”

In 2014, Dr. Dean launched RnA ReSet® and brought her integrated approach into her proprietary, unique formulations that give every individual at any stage of wellness or illness the necessary building blocks for sustained health, vitality, and well-being. She began her process by responding to her own need for a highly absorbed form of magnesium and has exceed that formulation with all of her Completement Formulas. Dr. Dean’s helping approach is not limited to her own formulations but is both cross-disciplinary and practical. Her eBook, Future Health Now Encyclopedia, is an example of how Dr. Dean gathers information from several disciplines and weaves that guidance into clinically validated suggestions that an individual can review with their health care practitioner. She continues to educate consumers about their Complementary and Alternative Medical choices in her books, Kindle books, eBooks, seminars, blogs, webinars, YouTube channels, and professional collaborations.

To the many who have benefitted by her unswerving dedication to sharing factual, scientifically validated health information, Dr. Dean is a hero and way ahead of her time. She had the foresight to recognize the havoc that sugar and processed foods have on the body back in the 1980’s, when no one else “got it” and nutritional research hadn’t caught up with her viewpoint. Yet, she would guide her patients to improve their diets by replacing sugar and processed foods with the highest quality fresh, seasonal, local food that is available. She continues today what she began back then: advocating for the integration of lifestyle, nutrition, and supplementation with traditional health and recovery strategies for those seeking optimal wellness and longevity.
