Hour 1

HHS Will Link Autism to Tylenol Use During Pregnancy, Wall Street Journal Reports The Wall Street Journal reports that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is preparing a report suggesting a possible link between maternal use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) during pregnancy and autism, along with highlighting folate deficiencies as another potential risk factor. Additionally, the report is expected to propose folinic acid (leucovorin)—a folate-based supplement—as a treatment to alleviate autism symptoms in some individuals. This upcoming report stems from a review of existing research and forms part of a broader NIH-led autism data science initiative. While some studies reviewed in Environmental Health have suggested associations, a more comprehensive 2024 Swedish sibling-control study involving over 2.4 million children found no such link. Major medical authorities, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, continue to affirm that acetaminophen is safe for use during pregnancy when medically necessary. The Wall Street Journal noted that Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol, strongly disputes any causal connection, though its shares dropped approximately 14 percent following the news. The report’s conclusions remain speculative until officially released, and experts emphasize the complexity of autism’s origins—rooted in a combination of genetic and environmental influences rather than a singular cause.

Special Guest: Morley Robbins

Morley Robbins, a retired Hospital executive (12 yrs) and healthcare consultant (20 yrs), chose to become a Wellness Coach in 2009. In the process, he has become a self-taught mineral expert. His highest purpose is to share this decade of daily scientific research on the profound metabolic interplay between 3 KEY minerals: Magnesium, Bioavailable Copper and Iron. These mineral-driven metabolic concepts are not fully understood, nor appreciated in practitioner circles, and are certainly not in the public’s consciousness. He regularly confers with world-renowned mineral experts, in addition to his research, and focuses on continued research, writing and educational conferences to promote his insights and findings. To that end, he manages two websites to provide mineral education: – The MAG Facebook Group: http://gotmag.org and- The Root Cause Protocol: http://therootcauseprotocol.com.His priority focus is to master mineral metabolism and its foundational impact on our health. There is a REASON for that priority focus…Left unchecked, CopperIron Dysregulation builds in the body, generates an imbalance of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), and the resulting metabolic confusion fosters every conceivable condition, syndrome, malady or disease that is growing steadily in North America, as well as the Planet. He has devised a unique blood test to reveal these mineral dynamics, and regularly trains practitioners to use this diagnostic tool in their practices. He has now performed over 5,500 consultations with clients in 45 countries around the world, and has trained scores of professionals in these unique mineral dynamics & concepts through his Copernican Institute. He speaks regularly at Wellness Conferences in New York, NY, Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA and was a speaker at The Forum for Integrative Medicine this March, 2019 in Seattle, WA. He is also a regular guest on dozens of different health-oriented Podcasts and Radio Shows. For additional information on his approach, please go to his website: http://therootcauseprotocol.com/Resources which has a wide spectrum of information on his philosophy, the RCP protocol, as well as 80+ Posts on Iron Toxicity compiled from his daily research over the past decade.

Welcome to “Homeopathic Hits” on The Robert Scott Bell Show.
On The Robert Scott Bell Show today, we turn to Mentholum – the active crystalline component of peppermint oil.
Known for its cooling sensation and widespread use in topical medicines, when potentized it becomes a useful homeopathic remedy for headaches, colds, and nerve pains, especially those marked by chilliness and irritation.

Hour 2

Where were you, Senators? While They Dripped Poison Into Our Children’s Bodies? In a powerful critique of Senate inaction, Paul Connett, Ph.D., sharply questions the silence of lawmakers while, for decades, children have been exposed to fluoride in drinking water despite mounting scientific evidence of neurotoxicity. He highlights that between 2017 and 2020, government-funded studies linked maternal and infant fluoride exposure to reduced IQ, yet senators said nothing. Connett further notes that in 2022, the National Toxicology Program officially designated fluoride as a neurotoxin, and in late 2024 a federal court ruled that fluoridated water poses an “unreasonable risk” to children, yet senators remained silent. He contrasts this with the vigilance shown by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who tracked the trial and read the research with concern. In rhetorical questions, Connett challenges whether senators are following the science or following money, suggesting they may reflect pharmaceutical or industrial interests rather than public safety. He then reframes consent questions, asking whether it is acceptable to expose unborn babies to fluoride, organic mercury, aluminum, or messenger RNA—pointing to a broader need for parental informed choice and questioning the ethics of mandated interventions. Connett’s argument demands accountability: if elected officials cannot respond to clear scientific findings where children’s health is at stake, their legitimacy must be questioned.

Special Guest: Dr. Darren Schmidt

Dr. Darren Schmidt, a chiropractor, has devoted his practice exclusively to clinical nutrition since 1998. He is the proprietor of the Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor and a sought-after speaker on health topics.

Growing up, Dr. Schmidt spent 17 summers working on his family’s farm, instilling in him a profound understanding of the interplay between nature and health. Raised in a family of farmers and educators, he lacked medical influences but gained invaluable lessons in perseverance and problem-solving. His ethos of resourcefulness—believing that obstacles are opportunities for acquiring knowledge and tools—shaped his approach to healthcare.

Dr. Schmidt’s path to healthcare diverged from traditional medicine after investigating various professions, including podiatry, optometry, and veterinary medicine. Inspired by the holistic principles of chiropractic care, he graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago in 1997 and established a practice in Toledo before relocating to Ann Arbor in 2000.

During chiropractic college, Dr. Schmidt immersed himself in over 50 seminars within 24 months, exploring diverse therapeutic modalities and discovering the transformative potential of nutrition. Witnessing the efficacy of holistic approaches and functional lab testing, he recognized the pressing need for comprehensive nutritional interventions in healthcare.

With a significant presence on social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, Dr. Schmidt shares his expertise with a broad audience, comprising over 8,400 healthcare professionals. As a co-founder of Power Nutrition Practice, he spearheads initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of practitioners in nutrition clinics, reflecting his unwavering dedication to advancing professional development in the field.

It’s Possible to Remove the Forever Chemicals in Drinking Water. Will It Happen? A recent study published in ACS ES&T Water reveals that filtration technologies designed to eliminate PFAS—so-called “forever chemicals” linked to cancer, developmental delays, and hormonal disorders—also significantly reduce disinfection byproducts formed during water treatment, including trihalomethanes by 42% and haloacetic acids by 50%, both associated with elevated cancer risk. This finding suggests ancillary benefits beyond PFAS removal, offering a compelling opportunity to improve water safety more broadly. However, the real-world effectiveness varies across systems due to differences in water sources, seasonality, and system capabilities, with small and rural water utilities particularly lacking in resources. This matters amid regulatory uncertainty: although the Biden administration established strict PFAS limits in 2024 with a 2029 compliance deadline, the EPA under the Trump administration is reconsidering rules on four of six targeted PFAS chemicals and extending deadlines—raising concerns about policy backsliding. Experts caution that notwithstanding these technical solutions, cost and equity challenges persist, meaning that successful implementation will require coordinated investments, policy commitment, and support for underserved water systems.
