Hour 1
RFK Jr. Faces Medical Freedom Backlash Over Hantavirus PREP Act Declaration Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing sharp criticism from medical freedom advocates after invoking the PREP Act to grant broad legal immunity to Japanese drug maker FUJIFILM Toyama Chemical for its experimental antiviral favipiravir (Avigan) in response to a hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship, despite the drug’s known risks including birth defects observed in animal studies and serious liver toxicity. The declaration, effective through July 18, 2026, shields the manufacturer, distributors, and healthcare providers from lawsuits related to injuries or deaths from the unapproved countermeasure for hantavirus, even though favipiravir is only conditionally approved in Japan for influenza and lacks robust human safety data for this indication. Critics on X and within the health freedom community expressed disappointment that Kennedy, long seen as a champion of informed consent and opposition to liability shields for experimental products, would use the same emergency powers he previously criticized during the COVID-19 response, especially given the low human-to-human transmissibility of hantavirus and the availability of supportive care for a disease that has historically been contained regionally. Supporters of the move argue it removes barriers for rapid research and response during a potential public health threat, while opponents see it as a troubling precedent that prioritizes pharmaceutical protection over transparency and patient autonomy at a time when MAHA is pushing for greater scrutiny of rushed medical interventions. The backlash highlights tensions within the health freedom movement as Kennedy navigates federal emergency authorities amid ongoing outbreaks and stalled global health treaty negotiations. The article notes growing calls for Kennedy to clarify the decision and reaffirm commitments to medical freedom principles.

Comment of The Day!
Hi RSB and Super Don,
I just had to share this with you guys. Our oldest graduated high school, a year early actually, from our homeschool hybrid program. She’s inspired to go into natural health to really help people learn how to take care of themselves, get and stay well. When most people read this they think she’s following in my footsteps, but to be honest, it’s you and other voices I’ve been introduced to through you that inspired me to pursue this journey and in turn has inspired her.
So thank you, not only for the wisdom that you always impart but the uplifting and positive way in which you do it. It’s clearly been an inspiration to our whole family.
I hope to make it on the ask me anything this coming weekend at least for a little bit. We’re working very hard to get our yard and garden and everything ready for a graduation party mid June!
Thanks, for being you – both of you. I appreciate you!
Stefanie
Hour 2
EXCLUSIVE: Trump’s Pollster Found Voters Were Highly Concerned About Vaccines. The Poll Never Saw Daylight An unreleased October 2025 poll conducted by President Trump’s longtime pollster Tony Fabrizio for MAHA Action found that 73% of voters expressed concern about childhood vaccine mandates, while 90% expressed concern about the pharmaceutical industry’s corrupting influence on public policy, medical research, and news coverage, yet the poll was never made public while subsequent published Fabrizio polls focused on support for individual established vaccines and framed the issue as a political loser. The secret survey of 1,500 registered voters revealed broad bipartisan support for more research on the cumulative effects of multiple vaccines in infants, curbing vaccine manufacturer immunity, and greater parental decision-making, with only 11% saying the government alone should decide on vaccinations and 18% holding a favorable view of the pharmaceutical industry. In contrast, later public polls asked about removing “established” childhood vaccine recommendations, dropping support dramatically, and emphasized individual vaccines like MMR, Tdap, and Hepatitis B. The unpublished poll’s findings appear to undermine the White House’s rationale for pivoting away from vaccine scrutiny toward food policy ahead of midterms, especially as the administration faced pressure from pharmaceutical companies and saw the exit of key FDA officials including Commissioner Marty Makary who sought stronger vaccine safety standards. The shift occurred amid a covert lobbying effort by pharma and relentless business press criticism of FDA drug rejections. Fabrizio’s firm conducted multiple MAHA-related polls, but only the more limited versions were released. The unreleased data showed voters want NIH studies on infant vaccine schedules and shared responsibility between government and individuals, highlighting a communications challenge where MAHA awareness is highest among Trump supporters but recent vaccine and autism mentions have led some to view the movement as not science-based. The revelations come as the administration has seen significant FDA leadership turnover, including the termination of officials pushing for schedule reviews and database-driven safety studies.
Katy Talento Kept Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Out of the West Wing: Apology From Former White House Adviser Former White House adviser Katy Talento publicly apologized for working to limit Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s access to the West Wing and influence within the Trump administration, admitting she actively kept him out of key meetings and decision-making circles because she viewed his views on vaccines and chronic disease as too extreme and potentially damaging to the president’s agenda. Talento, who served as a senior policy adviser focused on health issues, revealed in a statement and subsequent interviews that she and other insiders coordinated to sideline Kennedy early in the administration, believing his push for vaccine schedule reviews, investigation of pharmaceutical influence, and emphasis on environmental toxins and nutrition would alienate key stakeholders, create political liabilities ahead of midterms, and distract from other priorities. She acknowledged that her efforts contributed to internal tensions, including the departures or marginalization of several MAHA-aligned officials, and expressed regret for underestimating the depth of public support for Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again vision and the legitimacy of concerns over vaccine safety, chronic disease drivers, and regulatory capture. The apology comes amid growing frustration within the MAHA community over perceived White House resistance to deeper reforms at the FDA, CDC, and NIH, with critics arguing that internal gatekeeping has slowed progress on issues like removing certain vaccines from recommendations, investigating autism causes, and reducing pesticide and ultra-processed food exposures. Kennedy’s supporters welcomed the admission as validation of long-held suspicions about bureaucratic and political obstacles, while calling for greater transparency and accountability in how health policy is shaped. The development highlights ongoing power struggles within the administration between establishment health figures and those aligned with Kennedy’s root-cause approach to America’s chronic disease epidemic. Talento stated she now recognizes that shielding the president from uncomfortable truths ultimately undermined the administration’s ability to deliver on promises to address the real drivers of declining American health.
Special Guest: Katy Talento
Katy Talento is a Harvard-trained epidemiologist, former Senate staffer, White House health policy advisor, naturopathic doctor, homebirth coach, benefits reformer, and grandmother who has spent two decades working inside the health care and public health policy system. After years in Washington, including 15 years with Senate Republicans and later in the Trump White House on health policy, she left government in 2019 to help employers rethink health benefits, challenge insurance carriers, PBMs, and conflicted brokers, and build more practical, human-centered approaches to care. Through AllBetter, she now focuses on exposing the failures of what she calls the “sick-care” system while offering hope, encouragement, and realistic steps for people seeking better health, stronger families, and greater freedom from systems that too often work against them.
Question of The Day!
Hello,
I have a homeopathy question! A friend of mine does not like homeopathy and distrusts it due to manufacturing companies having people on boards that have ties to dark money and things like BlackRock and big pharma, her words. She feels like homeopathy is just a different head of the same snake. This is an objection I have not come across before and would love some ideas of what I could share with her and others.
