Children Whose Mothers Were Exposed During Pregnancy to Fluoridated Tap Water at Higher Risk of Neurobehavioral Problems
A study published in JAMA Network Open found that children whose mothers were exposed to fluoridated tap water during pregnancy are at a higher risk of developing neurobehavioral problems. Researchers from the Keck School of Medicine, University of Florida, and Indiana University followed 229 mother-child pairs and discovered that a 0.68 mg/L increase in fluoride exposure was linked to nearly double the risk of neurobehavioral issues by age 3. The study indicates that typical fluoridation levels in U.S. cities (0.7 mg/L) are associated with these adverse effects. Co-author Dr. Howard Hu emphasized the significance of these findings, suggesting that fluoride’s impact on neurobehavioral development could be causal. This adds to existing research showing fluoride’s potential neurotoxicity. The study calls for reconsidering current fluoride exposure guidelines during pregnancy. The findings also fuel ongoing debates about water fluoridation policies, as the study supports arguments for stricter regulation or elimination of fluoride from public water systems to protect developing brains from potential harm.

Ex-NIH Director Confirms ‘No Science’ Behind 6-Foot Distancing Rules
Former NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins confirmed that the six-foot social distancing guideline implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic lacked scientific evidence. In newly released testimony, Collins admitted that the rule was not based on solid data but rather on pragmatic decisions made by public health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx. The revelation highlights the challenges and uncertainties faced by officials in creating guidelines amidst the pandemic. Critics argue that such unsubstantiated measures may have caused unnecessary public disruption and eroded trust in health directives. Despite the lack of evidence, the CDC and other agencies continued to reference the six-foot rule in their guidelines, including those for healthcare settings and dental facilities. The testimony has reignited debates over the effectiveness of pandemic measures and the importance of transparency and scientific rigor in public health policymaking. It underscores the need for better communication and reliance on robust scientific data in future health crises.

Experts are working hard to make insects part of your diet. The ‘yuck factor’ may be the biggest hurdle
Researchers are advocating for the inclusion of insects in human diets as a sustainable protein source, despite the significant ‘yuck factor’ that deters many Western consumers. A study presented at the European Congress on Obesity surveyed 603 U.K. adults, revealing that only 13 percent were willing to eat insects regularly. To overcome this aversion, experts suggest incorporating insect-based ingredients into familiar foods like bread and pasta. Insects offer high protein and nutrient content, are easier and cheaper to farm than traditional livestock, and have a lower environmental impact. For example, insect farming requires less land, water, and produces fewer greenhouse gases. Despite these benefits, Western consumers find the taste and sensory properties of insects unappealing. However, attitudes could shift over time, similar to how foods like lobster have become delicacies. Companies like Eat Grub and Chirps are already marketing insect-based products, emphasizing their nutritional and ecological benefits. As the global demand for protein rises, normalizing insect consumption could become essential for sustainable food production.

Microplastics found in every human testicle in study
A recent study discovered microplastics in the testicles of all human subjects tested, raising concerns about their potential impact on male fertility. Researchers analyzed 23 human testicles and found microplastics in every sample. The study also included 47 testicles from pet dogs, revealing that higher microplastic contamination was associated with lower sperm counts in dogs. While the human samples were preserved and could not provide sperm count data, the correlation observed in dogs suggests a similar risk in humans. Microplastics have previously been found in human blood, placentas, and breast milk, indicating widespread contamination. The particles can lodge in tissues and may cause inflammation or release harmful chemicals, potentially affecting sperm production and overall health. The study, published in Toxicological Sciences, underscores the urgent need for further research to understand the full implications of microplastic exposure and calls for measures to reduce plastic pollution to protect human health.

Married to my husband, James, for 17.5 years. I have 6 daughters ranging from ages 7 up to 16. I have homeschooled for 12-13 years. We aim to live a self-sustainable lifestyle. I support my husband’s residential building company that is PRAYERFULLY transitioning to custom cabinetry and furniture making. We are organic and gluten free. We live in an RV. YES, all 8 of us with 2 labs and a cat. We have 10 acres and a house torn down to the studs. I currently farm 25 chickens, 5 guinea, 2 bunnies, 4 mini Nubian goats, 3 Holstein/Angus heifers, 4 sheep and 1 ram lamb (with the potential of 3 more lambs any day now). I believe in healing power of prayer. I believe the body was created to keep us alive and there are key essential nutrients our bodies require to do so and NO ONE is taught these, unless you’ve learned from a very FEW select in this world. I believe in freedom. And more than anything I live every day of my life to please YHVH, my Elohim, Creator, Lover of my soul, Giver of Life, Healer of the broken and Strong Tower in which I find refuge.

Questions of The Day!

Hello RSB, my family and I would like to do a parasite detox together. My husband and I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old and I am currently breastfeeding our 2 month old. Do you have an effective way to cleanse them? Or do you know if Global Healings (Dr. group) Parasite Cleanse is okay for breastfeeding and children? Thank you!!
Hannah

Hi Robert, I recently had some blood work done and it turns out that I have low ferritin, normal iron, low copper, and ceruloplasmin levels on the low end of normal. Just wondering how you would interpret these results. I remember Morley Robins speaking about this on your show years ago but can’t remember details! What would the optimal way to address this be? I did just order sovereign copper and have started supplementing. (Also, generally speaking, can anyone supplement with it or should they have their copper levels checked first? Are there contraindications?)
Thank you!
Grace

USDA: Fully Cooked Hamburgers Pose No Bird Flu Risk The USDA has confirmed that fully cooked hamburgers do not pose a risk of transmitting the H5N1 bird flu virus. The agency’s study involved injecting a high level of a bird flu virus surrogate into ground beef and found that cooking hamburgers to temperatures of 145 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit effectively eliminated the virus. This announcement aims to reassure consumers about the safety of ground beef amidst concerns over an outbreak of bird flu in dairy cattle. Additionally, the USDA is investing $22.2 million to enhance the nation’s capacity to respond to animal disease outbreaks, including improving laboratory capabilities. The study also noted that ground beef samples from retail outlets tested negative for the H5N1 virus. As grilling season approaches, the USDA’s findings emphasize the importance of proper cooking techniques to ensure food safety. The CDC continues to monitor the situation, urging precautions for those in close contact with potentially infected animals.
