Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Hour 1
Special Guest: Andrew Wakefield
Today we kick things off at the Children’s Health Defense event in Austin, Texas, reunited with my good friend Dr. Andrew Wakefield. It’s been a while since we’ve had him on the show, but his spirit is as strong as ever. We talk about how much has changed since our early interviews, and how the hashtag “Wakefield was right” has taken on a life of its own. Andy shares his perspective on the remarkable turn of events—Robert F. Kennedy Jr. leading HHS and challenging Big Pharma’s grip on Congress. He reminds everyone that supporting Kennedy isn’t about party politics, it’s about protecting the health and future of our children.
We move into recent scientific validations, including a new paper co-authored with Dr. Peter McCullough showing vaccines as the most significant modifiable risk factor for autism. Andy explains that even researchers historically skeptical of the vaccine-autism link now acknowledge the evidence. Then we discuss Del Bigtree’s latest battle in Michigan, where a health system refused to publish a vaccinated vs. unvaccinated study after results showed poorer health outcomes among the vaccinated. Dell’s hidden-camera footage exposed the censorship, a turning point that’s shaking the medical establishment.
As we reflect on this long struggle, Andy and I agree that the tide is finally turning. COVID, ironically, woke up the world—forcing people to question the system and media they once trusted. What used to be taboo to even mention—vaccines and autism—is now mainstream conversation. Andy recalls starting this journey when only a handful of people dared speak up. Now, more than half of adults worldwide are questioning vaccine safety, thanks to film, independent media, and platforms that refuse to silence truth-tellers.
The conversation takes a heartfelt turn when I debut a song written for Andy called “The Parents Were Right.” Inspired by the courage of families who stood by him, it captures decades of struggle and vindication. As thesong plays, we both feel the emotional weight of the moment—the years of ridicule, the pain, the perseverance, and now, the dawning recognition that truth has a heartbeat that won’t be silenced. Andy’s gratitude is humble and deep, and we celebrate not just his vindication but the parents whose intuition never wavered.
Finally, Andy gives us a glimpse into his new creative frontier: filmmaking. His next projects, The Honey Hunter’s Daughter and The Bequest, explore the humanity and resilience of those affected by vaccine injury. He’s channeling his life’s work into stories that awaken compassion and inspire change. As we wrap up, Andy shares that he’s recovered from illness—thanks to Dr. Peter McCullough—and is back full of purpose. The love in that room was palpable, a reminder that truth and integrity endure.
Andy J. Wakefield has been likened to the Dreyfus of his generation, a doctor falsely accused of scientific and medical misconduct, whose discoveries opened up entirely new perceptions of childhood autism, the gut-brain link, and vaccine safety. As an ‘insider’, the price for his discoveries and his refusal to walk away from the issues they raised, was swift and brutal, the loss of job, career, reputation, honours, colleagues, and country. And yet he enjoys a huge and growing support from around the world. Wakefield’s stance made him a trusted place for whistleblowers from government and industry to confess and ‘download.’ He has extraordinary stories to share, and is now an award-winning filmmaker. Despite elaborate attempts at censorship, his documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe – the revelations of a vaccine scientist at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – changed the public mindset on the truth about vaccine safety. Wakefield’s is a story that starts with professional trust in the instincts of mothers, choice and consequences, a quest for truth, and perseverance against overwhelming odds.
Special Guest: Del Bigtree
Next, it’s like old times catching up with my friend Del Bigtree. The man behind The HighWire and the new documentary An Inconvenient Study is on fire, and it’s clear that momentum in the health freedom movement has exploded. We reflect on how much has changed since Vaxxed—how COVID forced the world to see what many of us had been warning about for years. Del calls it a “Red Sea moment,” when the system overplayed its hand, exposing the rot within medicine and government. Without COVID, he says, Bobby Kennedy would never be leading HHS today.
Del walks us through the story behind An Inconvenient Study—a film built around the now infamous Henry Ford study comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated children. Conducted by a pro-vaccine researcher who set out to disprove the critics, the data instead showed vaccinated children had far higher rates of chronic illness, autoimmune issues, and neurodevelopmental disorders. When the institution refused to publish the results, Del caught the lead researcher on hidden camera admitting the truth: he feared losing his job. What was meant to end the debate only reignited it, proving that reproducible science—not censorship—is what drives real discovery.
We talk about how Del’s approach has always been about building bridges instead of burning them. He shares how that long-term relationship with the lead scientist began back in 2016, when a simple dinner conversation turned into a years-long collaboration that would eventually blow the lid off the vaccine narrative. Del reminds us that patience and compassion can do more than outrage ever could—because real change takes relationship, humility, and faith in divine timing. As he says, this was a seed planted years ago that only now has borne fruit.
The conversation turns to the spiritual heart of the movement. We talk about fear—fear of the future, fear of what comes after Trump and Kennedy—and how that kind of thinking paralyzes progress. Del shares his view that faith, not foresight, drives this work forward. None of us knew Vaxxed would spark a movement, or that Kennedy would one day stand at the helm of HHS. The lesson? Do the next right thing today. Plant seeds, speak truth, and trust that the bigger picture is being handled by a power higher than any politician or agency.
As we wrap up, Del opens up about what keeps him grounded—his kids, the simple joy of watching them play, and the drive to keep telling the stories others are afraid to touch. He laughs recalling his first car, a beat-uporange Fiat that barely held together—kind of like the system we’re trying to fix. But the metaphor fits: somehow, despite the dents and breakdowns, we’re still moving forward. I thank Del for his courage, his heart, and his relentless pursuit of truth. And as always, I close with what we both believe: the power to heal is yours.
Del Bigtree is one of the preeminent voices of the vaccine risk awareness movement around the world. He is the founder of the non-profit, Informed Consent Action Network, and host of a rapidly growing internet talk show The HighWire, boasting over 33 million views to date. Del’s multi-pronged approach incorporates legal, legislative, and media actions to expose the fraud, lies, and conflicts of interest that have allowed the pharmaceutical industry to evade standardized safety testing for vaccines. This collusion between government agencies and the pharmaceutical industry, now the most powerful lobby in Washington, has led to a dramatic increase in vaccine injuries, estimated to be as high as 5.9 million cases per year in the US alone. Despite mainstream media sources such as the New York Times and Washington Post blame so-called “Anti-Vaxxers” for the growing trend of vaccine hesitancy, Del has focused the spotlight on the real issue – the shocking lack of credible vaccine science.
Del’s foray into the vaccine issue was anything but intentional. After spending a decade celebrating great doctors, cutting edge surgeries and medical breakthroughs as a producer on The Dr. Phil Show and the CBS medical talk show, The Doctors, it was a routine investigation into the story of a whistleblower at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that catapulted Del into the vaccine debate. When every news agency in television, including The Doctors, refused to cover the story of Dr. William Thompson, a senior scientist at the CDC who had provided over 10,000 documents to support his claim that the agency had destroyed scientific evidence proving a connection between vaccines and autism, Del put his career on the line and left network television to make one of the most controversial documentaries in history: Vaxxed: From Cover-Up To Catastrophe. The film became a worldwide phenomenon when it was abruptly removed from the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival lineup under unprecedented pressure by the festival’s medical sponsor, The Sloan Foundation.
Del is now one of the most sought after public speakers in the natural health arena, often gathering audiences in the thousands who travel from around the world to be inspired by his unique blend of passion, wit, and scientific expertise. He has worked directly with the likes of Robert Kennedy Jr., Robert DeNiro, and Jenny McCarthy, and was an official member of the 2017 Kennedy Vaccine Safety Delegation at the National Institute of Health arranged by President Trump. He is the recipient of multiple awards including an Emmy Award as a producer on The Doctors, Best Drama at the New York Television Festival, and the Health Freedom Hero Award from the National Health Freedom Federation, the oldest natural health organization in America. He has appeared on several primetime news networks including ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX and has been interviewed by countless radio and Internet personalities ranging from Tom Hartman to David Knight of Infowars. Above all, Del is most fulfilled by his work with the brave mothers and fathers of vaccine injured children who are marching on state capitols around the nation to stop Big Pharma’s push to forcibly inject every American citizen with vaccines, a product the Supreme Court has described as “unavoidably unsafe.”
Hour 2
Breaking: Trump Admin To Deport CCDH Founder Imran Ahmed – Restorative Justice for the ‘Disinformation Dozen’ The article reports that the Trump administration is preparing to revoke the U.S. visa of Imran Ahmed, CEO of the UK-based Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), marking an unprecedented action against a foreign censorship advocate accused of targeting American citizens. According to the report, the administration views Ahmed’s deportation as a response to coordinated censorship efforts led by CCDH, which allegedly influenced Big Tech to deplatform prominent figures including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elon Musk, and the author, Sayer Ji. The article links CCDH’s origins to British Labour Party operative Morgan McSweeney, now chief of staff to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, underscoring a transatlantic political network advancing speech restrictions aligned with Britain’s Online Safety Act. U.S. officials reportedly see this as foreign interference in American free speech, with The Telegraph and The Spectator describing Trump’s move as part of a campaign to “send a message” against UK-led censorship operations. Ji emphasizes the personal impact of CCDH’s actions, citing his inclusion in its 2021 “Disinformation Dozen” report, which labeled him and others as sources of health misinformation. The article portrays CCDH as a politically connected organization masquerading as a neutral watchdog, arguing that its influence has extended into shaping laws and online policy that undermine the First Amendment. Ji asserts that Ahmed’s potential deportation represents a turning point in defending U.S. sovereignty over digital speech, positioning it as a corrective measure against unelected foreign entities imposing speech controls on Americans. He further claims that CCDH’s activities reflect a broader pattern of transnational political manipulation and warns that such operations threaten the foundational principles of free expression. The piece concludes with a call to action for readers to support ongoing legal challenges against CCDH and its collaborators, framing the effort as a modern “1776 moment” for restoring constitutional rights in the digital age.
Exposed: The Hoax That Targeted Health Freedom The article begins by revealing how two well-dressed men with British accents circulated at a health-freedom conference under a false identity, presenting fabricated research linking fake meat to autism and seeking to film attendees endorsing the bogus claim. According to the author, the stunt was a sophisticated deception aimed at discrediting the health-freedom movement by catching activists on camera supporting absurd or false statements. The article describes how the individuals presented the study—automatically generated by artificial intelligence, with no real author—then coerced interviewees into repeating the claim on record, capitalizing on their sympathies toward environmental or health concerns. It recounts how the author confronted the actors after recognizing the setup and how further investigation traced one of them to a climate-activist NGO with funding from major philanthropic entities; the other remains unidentified. The piece argues that the incident illustrates how adversarial actors deploy undermining tactics against dissenting voices in the health sphere—specifically those challenging mainstream narratives—and calls it evidence that large, well-funded operations are intent on humiliating, distracting, or delegitimizing activists. The author emphasizes the significance of this deceptive campaign as proof that the movement is now seen as a threat by powerful interests and underscores the need for vigilance, transparency, and self-protection among health-freedom advocates. He asserts that genuine research and ethical activism must guard against being entangled with manipulated media designed to frame them as gullible or fringe. The article concludes by positioning the episode not as a one-off prank but as a warning about an escalating war on free inquiry in the digital and health-policy domains.
