Friday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Hour 1
Special Guest Jonathan Emord
In this Sacred Fire of Liberty edition of The Robert Scott Bell Show, I’m joined by Jonathan Emord as we dive into the pressing issues threatening our liberties. We kick off the show by celebrating the launch of the Long COVID Masterclass—an event we’ve all been waiting for—where I sat down with some of the brightest minds, including Jonathan, to dissect the constitutional challenges we’ve faced and chart a course forward. We also give a nod to the upcoming Trinity Health Freedom Expo, a gathering that’s all about empowering people to take control of their health.
But we don’t stop there. We take on the insanity coming out of the Democratic National Convention, where we see everything from mobile abortion clinics to a disturbing rise in anti-Israel rhetoric. The moral decay is real, and we’re here to expose it. Jonathan and I break down how these radical agendas are eroding the values that built this nation, and we don’t mince words when it comes to calling out the dangerous path we’re on.
We wrap up by shining a light on the economic destruction caused by government overreach and misguided policies like price controls. History has shown us where this leads, and it’s not pretty. We’re here to remind everyone that standing firm on our foundational principles is the only way to preserve liberty and economic stability in these challenging times. The power to heal—and to protect our freedoms—is still yours.
For the past 37 years, Jonathan W. Emord has litigated against the federal bureaucracy, winning over and over again. Ron Paul calls Jonathan “an expert in constitutional theory and history” and “an expert litigatorwith a long string of legal victories over the federal bureaucracy.” George Noory calls him “a Knight in Shining Armor” and “a warrior out to save our rights.” Congressmen Dan Burton and John Doolittle describe him as “an intellectual warrior for the rights and freedoms of people in America.” Jonathan has a unique, detailed knowledge of the federal bureaucracy, the deep state. He knows how to defeat it. Jonathan graduated from the University of Illinois (BA, political science and history, 1982) and DePaul University College of Law (JD, 1985). He served as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission during the Reagan administration. A leading constitutional law and litigation expert, he is the author of five critically acclaimed books. He has won more cases against the Food and Drug Administration in federal court than any other attorney in American history, earning him the nickname “FDA Dragon Slayer.” He is a columnist for Townhall.com, PJ Media.com, Americangreatness.com, and the U.S.A. Today Magazine. He frequently appears on national radio and television programs. He is married to Sheryl Emord, and they have two children, twins Justice and Angelica. They reside in Clifton, Virginia.
‘We Will Not Comply’ with Pandemic Treaty, 26 Republican Governors Tell WHO Twenty-six Republican governors have publicly declared that they will not comply with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) proposed pandemic treaty, citing concerns that it threatens U.S. sovereignty and constitutional freedoms. The governors issued a statement on August 29, 2024, accusing the WHO of seeking “one world control over health policy” through the treaty. The WHO has been drafting this pandemic agreement since 2021, aiming to centralize global health policies during emergencies. The governors argue that the treaty would grant the WHO excessive authority over key aspects of U.S. citizens’ rights, including speech, travel, and medical care, while undermining states’ rights protected by the Tenth Amendment. Despite disagreements among WHO negotiators during the latest World Health Assembly, the organization remains committed to finalizing the agreement in 2024. Health freedom advocates, such as Dr. Meryl Nass, have warned that the WHO’s actions are part of a broader effort to consolidate global control, with the governors’ opposition seen as a vital defense of U.S. autonomy. States like Florida, Utah, and Oklahoma have already passed legislation to safeguard state authority on health matters.
Why the Political Establishment Won’t Touch the Chronic Disease Issue The political establishment avoids addressing the chronic disease crisis, despite its widespread impact on the American population.Two-thirds of Americans now suffer from chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, obesity, and neurological disorders, which have increased drastically over the past few decades. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in a speech suspending his presidential campaign, emphasized the severity of this issue, calling it the most important problem facing the U.S. The article argues that the political class benefits from the chronic disease epidemic, as it enriches powerful sectors such as the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and food industries, which rely on government support and regulations. The American Medical Association, food companies, and pharmaceutical giants have established lucrative relationships with the government, pushing ultra-processed foods and drugs that treat symptoms rather than addressing root causes. The article asserts that a true solution would require dismantling the government-corporate alliances that perpetuate this crisis, but these entities have little incentive to solve a problem that generates immense profits for them.
ANH Readies for Unprecedented Defense of Health Freedom The Alliance for Natural Health (ANH) is preparing to launch an aggressive defense of health freedom, focusing on the growing threats posed by authoritarian policies and restrictions on natural health. The ANH team, led by founder Rob Verkerk and new General Counsel Jonathan Emord, aims to protect the public’s right to make informed health choices in a post-COVID era marked by heightened government control and restrictions justified under the guise of “safety.” The ANH’s strategy leverages recent legal developments, such as the Supreme Court’s overturning of the Chevron doctrine, which could pave the way for limiting government overreach. The discussion between Verkerk and Emord addresses issues like the destruction of scientific integrity, the rise of public distrust in government, and the need for a robust public education campaign to counter the influence of pharmaceutical interests. As the ANH continues its efforts, it calls on supporters to contribute to their legal and lobbying funds, emphasizing the importance of preserving health freedom and resisting authoritarianism in health policy.
Why ‘Skinny Jabs’ Will Deepen America’s Health Crisis Medicare may soon cover weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, raising concerns that this quick-fix solution could worsen America’s health crisis. These drugs, while effective for short-term weight loss, come with serious side effects such as suicidal thoughts, gastrointestinal issues, and a need for indefinite use to maintain weight loss. Critics argue that expanding Medicare to include these drugs will funnel trillions of taxpayer dollars into pharmaceutical companies, without addressing the root causes of obesity—poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and environmental factors like endocrine disruptors. The article advocates for preventive care, better nutrition, and lifestyle changes as more sustainable approaches to tackling obesity. It warns that relying on such drugs promotes dependency and ignores broader public health issues, including the mental health toll associated with their use. Instead of prioritizing pharmaceutical solutions, the article calls for a holistic approach to health that focuses on long-term, root-cause solutions to obesity and chronic disease.
PHOTO: Tim Walz’s Family Members Reveal Support for Donald Trump Several family members of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, have publicly shown their support for Republican candidate Donald Trump. A photo shared by Charles Herbster, a former Republican gubernatorial candidate for Nebraska, featured Walz’s relatives wearing shirts that read “Nebraska Walz’s for Trump.” Jeff Walz, the governor’s brother, has been outspoken against Tim Walz’s ideology, stating on social media that he has not spoken to his brother in eight years. Jeff further criticized his brother, calling him “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future” and expressing his opposition to his political views. Former President Donald Trump acknowledged Jeff Walz’s support in a Truth Social post, thanking him for the endorsement and expressing eagerness to meet him. The photo and subsequent statements highlight the division within the Walz family regarding political allegiances ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

5 Scientific Findings Explain Link Between Vaccines and Autism — Why Do Health Agencies Ignore Them? Research over the past decade, largely conducted outside the U.S., has identified several keyfindings that suggest vaccines, particularly those containing aluminum adjuvants, can trigger autism in vulnerable children. One major study in 2018 showed high levels of aluminum in the brains of individuals with autism, suggesting that the neurotoxin travels from the injection site to the brain. Aluminum adjuvants are designed to stimulate the immune system but have been shown to cause neuroinflammation, which is linked to autism. Other research highlights the role of immune system activation during pregnancy or early childhood, where cytokines like interleukin-6 (IL-6) can disrupt brain development. Despite mounting evidence, U.S. public health agencies continue to dismiss these findings and maintain that vaccines are safe, refusing to study the issue further. The article calls for a reassessment of the risks of vaccine-induced brain injury and criticizes health agencies for ignoring parental reports and scientific studies that challenge the safety of vaccines with aluminum adjuvants.
What You Should Know About the PFAS in Your Food Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly known as “forever chemicals,” are increasingly being detected in food and water supplies. PFAS, which have been used in consumer products since the mid-20th century, are extremely resistant to degradation and pose potential health risks, including cancer, high cholesterol, and low birth weight. The article highlights the difficulty in determining PFAS contamination levels in food, as the contamination depends heavily on location. For example, seafood from areas with high PFAS levels may pose a significant risk, as seen in research conducted in New Hampshire. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recently introduced limits on several PFAS types in drinking water, but regulating these chemicals remains a challenge given the sheer number of variants, with up to 15,000 different PFAS identified. The article advises consumers to diversify their diets and stay informed about local contamination risks to minimize exposure. Researchers emphasize the importance of reducing PFAS contamination at its source to prevent further entry into the food chain.
Food Processing Facts: Big Food Defends UPFs with New Website The Consumer Brands Association (CBA) has launched a website called “Food Processing Facts” to counter negative perceptions aboutultra-processed foods (UPFs). UPFs make up 73% of the U.S. food supply and contribute to 60% of national calorie consumption. Despite widespread concerns about the health risks associated with UPFs, the CBA argues that these foods play a critical role in providing affordable and accessible nutrition, particularly for food security. The site presents articles and studies aimed at debunking the link between food processing and poor health outcomes, claiming that “ultra-processed” is not a science-based term. However, the CBA’s history of representing large food corporations raises questions about its motivations, as critics argue that the site may be more focused on protecting corporate interests than consumer health. While UPFs are indeed affordable and widely available, concerns remain about their long-term health effects, and the debate over their role in the modern diet continues to divide experts.
