Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Sacred Fire of Liberty!

It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:

“The United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’” A recent federal court ruling has many people questioning whether the First Amendment, and its protection of our bedrock freedom of speech, has been extinguished in our country. I want to help clarify the status of this epic, high-profile case that is currently trending in the media… Missouri v. Biden, which I mentioned briefly in my Substack last week. As you likely know, this case was brought last year by the state attorneys general in Missouri and Louisiana together with some intrepid private individuals (including a couple of my colleagues, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and also Dr. Aaron Kheriaty who joins me as a Fellow at the Brownstone Institute). The plaintiffs are challenging the Biden Administration’s blatant obstruction of our First Amendment right to freedom of speech. They argue that the federal government colluded with Big Tech companies such as Facebook, Twitter, etc., during the pandemic to silence those who were questioning the government agenda, their protocols, their data, and so on with regards to the pandemic. Of course, the government argues they were working with the social media giants to moderate content in order to stop “misinformation,” whatever that is. You know, to keep you safe. And healthy.

Half of Voters Open to Third-Party Candidate in Troubling Sign For Biden Almost half of US voters — 47% — say they would consider voting for a third-party candidate for president next year, signaling a dissatisfaction with a potential rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. Those findings, in a Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday, could open a lane for any spoiler to impact the election as the group No Labels is actively floating the prospect of a third-party bid. No Labels is currently organized as a centrist advocacy group, not a political party. But the group has openly floated the possibility of fielding a candidate as an alternative to two unpopular major-party candidates. West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, a conservative Democrat, appeared at a No Labels event in New Hampshire this week, fueling speculation he could emerge as that candidate. Biden isn’t facing a serious challenge for the Democratic nomination, and polls show Trump as the clear frontrunner in the GOP primary. Biden, though, probably has the most to lose from a third party, because voters who dislike both of the potential major candidates tend to be Democrats or Democratic-leaning independents. “This Quinnipiac poll is telling the same story other polls have told for months: There is an unprecedented opening for an independent ticket in 2024,” said No Labels spokeswoman Maryanne Martini.

Democrats Go All in Defending Obamacare for DACA Illegal Aliens: ‘They’re American!’ Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Democrats are going all in to defend forcing Americantaxpayers to subsidize health insurance benefits for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In April, President Joe Biden announced plans to open Obamacare and Medicaid rolls, both subsidized by American taxpayers, to nearly 600,000 DACA illegal aliens. Former President Barack Obama first created the DACA program via executive order, shielding more than a million illegal aliens from deportation through the years. Currently, about 25 million Americans remain uninsured. Even for those with health insurance, recent polling has found that about half of Americans say they struggle to pay monthly insurance costs. “We’re having a hearing today as to why people who are American, they’re American, do not deserve healthcare. They’re here lawfully,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said. “They pay more taxes than Facebook does, they pay more taxes than many of our federal corporations do, they pay for — DACA recipients pay for members of Congress’s healthcare more than Facebook does.”

Joe Biden’s Parole Pipeline Frees More than Half a Million Migrants into U.S. President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released more than half a million migrants into the United States through its parole pipeline — a foreign population larger than the population of Sacramento, California. A few months into taking office in 2021, Biden began implementing an expansive Catch and Release network that has transformed the United States-Mexico border into a European-style checkpoint where border crossers are often stopped, briefly detained, and then released into the nation’s interior. According to calculations published by Camilo Montoya-Galvez at CBS News, the Biden administration has released at least 541,000 migrants into the U.S. interior. The figure suggests that nearly 170,000 migrants from Latin America and the Caribbean, more than 163,000 Ukrainians, 133,000 migrants via Biden’s migrant mobile app, and 77,000 Afghan nationals have been released through the parole pipeline in less than two years. The total, though, is likely much higher. Prior estimates, calculated and published in April by the Center for Immigration Studies, suggest that more than a million migrants had been released into the U.S. interior. This indicates that a foreign population larger than Jacksonville, Florida, has been brought to American communities by the Biden administration.

Exclusive — Sen. Joni Ernst: Biden Admin Should ‘Lead By Example,’ Set Thermostats at 78 Degrees Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) proposed legislation Wednesday to have the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) abide by the DOE’s recommendation to set everyone’s thermostat at 78 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure that government bureaucrats abide by the same recommendations that they urge Americans to follow, Ernst proposed the Lead by Example Act, which would require that the EPA and DOE not set their thermostats lower than 78 degrees Fahrenheit. “It’s time for the Biden administration to sweat out the radical green fantasy they’re pushing on the American people. I’m turning up the heat – to 78 degrees – on these Biden bureaucrats, so they think twice before imposing arbitrary rules on Americans,” Ernst told Breitbart News in an exclusive comment. “If they truly believe it’s good enough for hardworking Americans, they should be ready and willing to lead by example and follow their own guidelines.” The DOE encourages homeowners to bear higher temperatures to save on their electric bills.

Revolving Door: DEA’s No.2 quits amid reports of previous consulting work for Big Pharma The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s second-in-command has quietly stepped down amid reporting by The Associated Press that he once consulted for a pharmaceutical distributor sanctioned for a deluge of suspicious painkiller shipments and did similar work for the drugmaker that became the face of the opioid epidemic: Purdue Pharma. Louis Milione’s four years of consulting for Big Pharma preceded his 2021 return to the DEA to serve as Administrator Anne Milgram’s top deputy, renewing concerns in the agency and beyond about the revolving door between government and industry and its potential impact on the DEA’s mission to police drug companies blamed for tens of thousands of American overdose deaths. “Working for Purdue Pharma should not help you get a higher job in government,” said Jeff Hauser, the executive director of the Revolving Door Project, a watchdog for corporate influence in the federal government. “Too much collegiality is a problem. It’s hard to view your past and potentially future colleagues as scofflaws. Any independent person would find this abhorrent.”

Hour 2

The Weakening and Corruption of an Entire Generation of Rebels Many 2020-22 Americans, who consider themselves more sophisticated than their 1950s counterpart, nonetheless embraced Coronamania’s nonsensical lockdowns, school closures, masks, testing, and vaxxes. What cultural changes caused people to go from the radical, “anti-Establishment” 1960s and cynical Watergate/post-Vietnam/“Do your own thing” 1970s to the gullible, government-believing/medical expert-worshiping 2020s? As usual, I’ll begin with a contextualizing, slice-of-life story; two prosaic stories this time, which occurred fifty years apart. In 1972, my father was an electrician in an auto assembly plant. His employer provided hospitalization coverage for our family. My parents paid any other medical or dental bills out-of-pocket. That winter, I broke my leg doing sports. After an exam, X-rays and the application of a full-leg plaster cast, my mother wrote the Friday night, on-call, non-hospital general practitioner, oddly named Dr. Ailes, a check for $400. I felt guilty that my parents spent a week of my father’s take-home pay on me. But at least his employer didn’t pay anywhere near $23,000/year in insurance premiums to cover a family, as do today’s employers. So presumably, my father, and millions of others like him, got more take home pay than if his employer had paid the high premiums for all-inclusive medical insurance. And his employer could afford the wages/benefits of 5,700 American workers at his since-closed, Mahwah, NJ plant.

Question of The Day!

I just want to start by saying thank you for what you and superdon do every day. You’ve always been an inspiration for me and opened my eyes to Big Pharma and the medical establishment. I’ve learned a lot from your show and the seminars on YouTube. I was diagnosed almost a year ago with Bipolar disorder 2. I refused medication after a bad experience before with an antidepressant so I’ve been doing therapy only. Recently, my mood swings have been worse and i it’s affecting my family. I’m at my wits end and I feel so guilty for what I’ve put my family through, so when my therapist brought up medication about a month ago, I said I would give it a try. I was prescribed lamotrigine and I’ve been taking it daily, and I thought of reaching out to you to get your perspective on this and to get some help from a real expert. Thank you for everything you do

Special Guest Sally Banks!

Sally graduated from St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing in Sioux City, Iowa as a Registered Nurse and later received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. After twenty years of working in the hospital setting, she became increasingly frustrated with patient outcomes and the lack of preventative care that she knew could help keep people out of the hospital. Finally, she left the medical field in search of a better way. Her search led her to Trinity School of Natural Health, where she has received certifications as a BC, CHS, CMH, CNC, CNHP, CZS, MI, and ND.

In her practice as a Board-Certified Traditional Naturopath, Sally specializes in the use of Bach flower essences, Evox sessions, and educating clients about the foundations of natural health as she ministers to each client spirit, soul, and body.

Sally also works for Trinity School of Natural Health as an adjunct instructor and an Enrollment Specialist. Whether working with students in the classroom or helping them find the right program to reach their goals, she loves the daily interaction and excitement that students express about their education at Trinity. “I am passionate about education, and working with students at Trinity is truly a joy!”

Sally lives in Oklahoma with her husband, Kevin. They have five children and eleven amazing grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies include yoga, cooking, decorating, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Wendell Whitman was a tireless advocate for health freedom and a pioneer in the field of natural health. In 1991, recognizing the inadequacy of formal health education outside of the traditional medical field, he founded Trinity School of Natural Health.

Trinity School of Natural Health was founded for the purpose of presenting alternative natural health education to everyone. Today, the Trinity repertoire of programs and courses has evolved into a powerful, educational process that enables students to improve their own health, enhance the good health of their families, friends and communities, and their own professional practices.

Our philosophy is that we are intrinsically holistic and should therefore continually pursue true health through the development of the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the whole person. Our vision is to become the global leader in natural health education by creating a community of individuals who are committed to sharing their knowledge of the power and purpose of holistic health. As we strive to create an exceptional student experience, we will treat each person who chooses Trinity with respect and dignity. Every decision made, every single day, will be focused solely on what is best for our students.
