Friday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Covid Karen installed as Fauci’s replacement at NIAID There will soon be a new boss in town over at the Government Health insane asylum and off the books pharmaceutical lobbying outfit that is the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Her name is Dr Jeanne Marrazzo, and she has been named to replace Fauci as the new NIAID chief. She shares many similarities with her predecessor. Both come from the HIV/AIDS world, neither saw a patient ever again after completing their respective residencies, and neither has ever achieved anything scientifically significant. Unsusrprisingly, Dr Fauci, who is worshipped as a deity in the Government Health world, gave his blessing to Marrazzo. Marrazzo is “very well-liked, very respected” and experienced, Fauci told STAT News on Wednesday. “She’s going to be a good fit. It’s a great challenge that she’s going to be facing; it’s going to be exciting for her.” Fauci is far from the only person to applaud Dr. Marrazzo’s elevation to a Government Health head honcho post. Her appointment received much praise from the famed pseudoscientist Peter “Regional Fauci” Hotez. She also received praise from the communist fake doctor who leads the World Health Organization.

Special Guest Senator (retired) Mike Morrell

Mike Morrell was born and raised in California.  He was first elected in 2010 as a Republican to the California State Assembly. In 2014, he won a special election to the State Senate representing California’s 23rd State Senate District.  Senator Morrell, has been named Legislator of the Year by the Military Officers Association of America. Additionally, Senator Morrell has been recognized as the AmPac Connecting Faith & Business Community Leader of the Year, a National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Guardian of Small business, and received awards from the California Senior Legislature and the California Association of Licensed Investigators.  He also holds the highest lifetime vote rating from the American Conservative union.
Mike and his wife, Joanie, have four adult children.

Study reveals unexpected importance of the thymus in adults The thymus gland—which produces immune T cells before birth and during childhood— is often regarded as nonfunctional in adults, and it’s sometimes removed during cardiac surgery for easier access to the heart and major blood vessels. New research led by investigators at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and published in the New England Journal of Medicine has uncovered evidence that the thymus is in fact critical for adult health generally and for preventing cancer and perhaps autoimmune disease. To determine whether the thymus provides health benefits to adults, the team evaluated the risk of death, cancer, and autoimmune disease among 1,146 adults who had their thymus removed during surgery and among 1,146 demographically matched patients who underwent similar cardiothoracic surgery without thymectomy. The scientists also measured T cell production and blood levels of immune-related molecules in a subgroup of patients. Five years after surgery, 8.1% of patients who had a thymectomy died compared with 2.8% of those who did not have their thymus removed, equating to a 2.9-times higher risk of death. Also during that time, 7.4% of patients in the thymectomy group developed cancer compared with 3.7% of patients in the control group, for a 2.0-times higher risk.

Hour 2

Special Guest – Michael Boldin

Government Wants To Control Your Digital Identity In many states, Americans can now ditch their physical wallet and verify their identity simply by tapping their device on a scanner. And just as digital wallets from Apple and Google have made commerce more convenient, digital ID systems could potentially make government interactions faster and more efficient. But they also raise the ominous specter of government surveillance. Can we have the efficiency of a digital ID without letting government track our every move? Yes, but that’s not the path we’re on. Take Colorado. Since 2019, Coloradans have been able to use a digital ID as a legal form of personal identification throughout the state. Users download an application to their smartphone, enroll in the service, and have their identity authenticated by taking photos or videos of a valid ID card or other government issued documents to prove that they are who they claim to be. Then that information is encrypted, and the user is granted a digital ID and an associated key or code that serves as an identifier. Colorodans can simply show their digital ID to verify their identity in much the same way as you would show your driver’s license to a bartender to prove you are over 21. That means of verifying identity is relatively private. However, many services, both public and private, are increasingly turning to electronic verification, which requires pinging a government server. This ping creates a data record outlining who, what, when, and where. Over time, these records create a government-controlled ledger of information about its citizens.

Say Goodbye to Permissionless Travel Once upon a time, citizens of the United States could travel to almost every country in the European Union for 90 days without asking any government for permission beyond showing a passport at the initial point of entry. It was—and still is, for a few waning months—a marvelous if underacknowledged achievement for liberty. Alas, the days of frictionless travel will soon be a memory. Starting at a so-far-unspecified date in early 2024, Americans and residents of 62 other countries that currently enjoy visa-free visitation to the Schengen Area of the E.U. will need to pay a fee and submit an online application (including biometric information, work experience, medical conditions, and initial itinerary), then pass a criminal/security background check, before enjoying that croissant in gay Paree. The grimly named European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is projected to cost 7 euros per application and take up to 14 days to render a decision. Before you start shaking your fist at freedom-hating Eurocrats, know that ETIAS is the belated continental answer to a system the U.S. has imposed on residents of friendly countries since 2009, called the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, or ESTA. Like ETIAS, ESTA is a response to 21st-century terrorist attacks and combines modest fees ($21) with less-than-instantaneous turnaround times (a promised 72 hours). Both either tweak or torpedo (depending on your point of view) the notion of reciprocal “visa waiver” travel between high-trust countries.

Was the Covid Response a Coup by the Intelligence Community? From an early date, commentators have noted that the response to COVID had all the look and feel of a coup attempt. The masks, the slogans, the symbols, the lies, the sudden inversion of long-cherished norms and values, the mindless acceptance of information from nefarious sources like the World Health Organization and China. Something was seriously off, and it all seemed so obvious. Thus, one overarching question always lingered over the response to COVID. How were officials able to implement such destructive, totalitarian policies across the Western world without intelligence authorities stepping in to stop them? A detached review of the evidence leads to a chilling answer—though in hindsight, perhaps the only one that was ever really possible. Quite simply, the reason the Western intelligence community never stepped in to stop the illiberalism is that virtually all the most illiberal aspects of the response to COVID lead directly back to the Western intelligence community itself. Reviewing the Evidence The Western intelligence community was behind the birth of “social distancing” as public health policy via Richard Hatchett and Carter Mecher—operatives with deep ties to the highest levels of the intelligence and biosecurity communities—through their work on biodefense policy during the Bush administration. In what may be the mother of all COVID coverups, Hatchett and Mecher’s story that “social distancing” was based on a 14-year-old’s science project, as told through the New York Times and celebrity author Michael Lewis, appears to be nothing but an elaborate cover story for the fact that the concept was lifted directly from China’s longstanding policy of “lockdown” during SARS in 2003.
