Wednesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

CDC Labeled Accurate Articles as Misinformation, Documents Show
Internal emails reveal that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) labeled several accurate news articles as misinformation. The articles, published by The Epoch Times, included reports on a peer-reviewed paper about myocarditis rates post-COVID-19 vaccination and a story on the U.S. government receiving royalty payments from Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine. Despite the accuracy of these articles, the CDC categorized them as misinformation in internal communications. Experts and critics argue that this practice by the CDC undermines public trust and illustrates the dangers of government agencies acting as arbiters of truth. The emails, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, highlight concerns about government censorship and the labeling of legitimate information as misinformation.

Conspiracy Theorists Were Right About Climate Lockdowns
Governor Kathy Hochul of New York issued a travel ban for Erie County due to snow, effectively creating a lockdown situation. This action is criticized as an overreach of government power, likened to a test of totalitarian control rather than a safety measure. The article suggests that such government actions, under the guise of emergency measures, are a slippery slope towards more authoritarian control. It raises concerns about the erosion of personal freedoms and the potential for similar overreaches in the name of climate control or other emergencies.

Avoid inflammatory food to help save aging muscles, says researcher
Research by Corey Linton from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia suggests that avoiding inflammatory foods can help preserve muscle mass and strength in older adults. The study, published in the journal Nutrients, found a link between diets high in inflammatory foods and symptoms of muscle degeneration in older people. Those with lower scores on the dietary inflammatory index had better muscle health. The research emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet, including ample vegetables and fruits, in maintaining muscle health and combating chronic musculoskeletal diseases like sarcopenia in the aging population.

Who Will Deliver Justice to Our Service Members?
The U.S. military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate is criticized for violating service members’ legal and constitutional rights, with a focus on the mandate’s coercive nature and its impact on career progression and deployment. The legality of the mandate is questioned, particularly as troops were required to receive EUA-only vaccines instead of the FDA-approved Comirnaty, which was not in production. The article highlights the failure to provide informed consent and respect the right to refuse EUA products, as outlined in the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the Belmont Report. It suggests that military leadership knowingly continued with unlawful orders, leading to concerns about the lack of accountability and justice for affected service members.

Strong links found between long COVID and myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome
A University of Otago study has found strong links between long COVID and myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). The pilot study, the first comparative molecular study of immune cell proteins in both conditions, suggests that the two are closely related. This connection means that decades of research on ME/CFS can be applied to understanding and treating long COVID. The study revealed that immune system activity in long COVID patients was dramatically different from healthy individuals, mirroring patterns seen in ME/CFS patients. The findings support a model where, in susceptible individuals, a normal immune response to infection becomes chronic, leading to neurological symptoms and poor brain regulation of body physiology.
