Sunday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

This Sunday Conversation becomes one of the most personal and meaningful conversations I have ever shared on the air. Sitting with my mom, Miki Bell, at 92 years young, I am not interviewing a guest so much as bearing witness to a life lived fully, courageously, and unapologetically in the present moment. As she pedals steadily on her exercise bike, she becomes a living testament to movement, resilience, and the quiet power of living intentionally every day.

We journey through her remarkable life, beginning in 1934 in what was then Palestine, long before the founding of Israel. She shares memories of her mother walking thousands of miles from Lithuania as a teenager to escape persecution, a story of survival that shapes generations. We talk about growing up amid political tension without hatred, where Jews and Arabs live as neighbors until politics intervene, and how she learns early that most conflict is manufactured by forces far removed from everyday human connection.

The conversation unfolds through stories of independence, adaptability, and self-trust. From apprenticing as a seamstress and hairdresser to serving in the Israeli police force, becoming a flight attendant with El Al, opening an Israeli art center in Switzerland, and eventually immigrating to the United States, my mom navigates life without waiting for permission. Languages are learned by immersion, careers by courage, and decisions by intuition rather than fear. She lives proof that education is not confined to classrooms, and that confidence often precedes credentials.

Health and longevity naturally become central themes. We talk openly about her decision decades ago to walk away from pharmaceuticals, embrace organic food, homeopathy, detoxification, and daily movement. She reflects on reversing serious health challenges, refusing unnecessary surgery, and trusting the body’s ability to heal when supported instead of suppressed. At 92, she takes no medications, remains physically strong, and continues to move daily, reminding us that it is never too late to change direction while you are still breathing.

As the conversation closes, the wisdom is simple and profound. Live in the moment. Keep moving. Eat real food. Release negativity. Do not live transactionally. Trust life. Plan less, live more. Watching my mom pedal through an hour-long conversation becomes the message itself. Longevity is not luck. It is lived. And this Sunday Conversation stands as a living reminder that the power to heal, adapt, and thrive has always been within reach – at any age.
