Sunday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

This Sunday Conversation takes place on the floor of the IAOMT Spring Conference in San Antonio, Texas, where I finally get the chance to sit down with Susan V. Whittaker, author of Raising Telepathic Children. When you see endorsements from friends like Bruce Lipton and Bradley Nelson, you already know we’re stepping into territory that blends science, consciousness, and the unseen dimensions of human potential. Susan stops me in the hallway and says we need to talk – and after hearing her story, it becomes obvious why.

Susan shares the extraordinary journey that brings her into this work. After teaching first grade for 25 years, she becomes severely poisoned by formaldehyde exposure from classroom materials. Conventional medicine dismisses her symptoms, telling her it is “all in her head,” despite overwhelming toxicity in her system. Eventually she finds help through integrative physicians like Dr. Robert Rowan and through homeopathy, beginning a long path back to health that challenges everything she had been told about medicine and healing.

But Susan’s story goes much deeper. Raised in Alaska with Native American roots, she grows up under the guidance of tribal medicine women who teach her to trust intuition, energy awareness, and spiritual perception. Those early teachings become the foundation for understanding children who appear to communicate beyond conventional language. Her work explores the possibility that many children are naturally intuitive, empathic, and even telepathic – but their abilities are often suppressed or misunderstood in modern educational systems.

Our conversation explores how parents and educators might better recognize these sensitivities rather than pathologize them. Instead of labeling children as distracted, anxious, or different,Susan suggests that many may simply be perceiving more information than adults realize. When nurtured rather than shut down, these gifts can evolve into heightened awareness, emotional intelligence, and deeper connection with others.

Ultimately, this conversation becomes a reminder that human potential may extend far beyond what mainstream education and medicine currently acknowledge. Whether through intuition, energetic awareness, or expanded communication, Susan’s work challenges us to reconsider what children may already know – and how adults might learn to listen more carefully.
